No luck selling 5 on CL... Take the next worth offer?

Last year I sold my 64GB unlocked white 4s for $545... I have my white 64GB white 5 on ebay, current bid is $400... had a buy it now at $600 but that is gone now since someone bid.
 
Go with nextworth. The price will only drop if you don't take it. You have 30 days so that's good too.
 
Yeah $450 sounds about right for your subsidized iphone 5 ... If it was unlocked then I can see more of a value.
 
I just bought a 64gb iphone 5 for 470$ and that's with applecare+ with 2 replacement iphones still

personally i wouldn't have gone above 500 unless it included a lot of other things/and or was brand new
 
I sold my 64 GB iPhone 5 on Craigslist the other day for $450. Hard to get much more than that.
 
I would take the $450. I swapped my verizon 64 gb at the apple store for a new one. I had a hard time getting $550 for it. That was 3 weeks before the new one was announced and it had apple care +. It's a lot harder getting rid of the iphone this year then previous years. I used swappa to sell it by the way.
 
I got $480 today on Ebay for my 64GB Black Verizon. (Yes I know 12% in fees with Ebay/Paypal). Granted it was in almost perfect condition and a year left on AppleCare+. I think AppleCare+ really helped drive the price up a little higher than I thought I would.
 
$450 is good. You should go ahead take that offer. Craigslist is cash in your hand and done deal. Sending it to one of those resale websites you run the risk of them low balling you after they receive it. You can sell it for over $500 on eBay but after 13% eBay and paypal fees you don't come out ahead enough for it to be worth it.
 
I had 2 offers for my 2 week old flawless Verizon iphone 16gb black. One from Gazelle for $320 and one from BuyBackWorld for $350. After just running it on ebay for a week and all the hassle involved with that it sold Sunday night for $426 plus $8.75 shipping.

After Paypal fees, ebay fees and shipping costs? I got $359.46 for it. Not really worth it in my opinion. Resellers are getting better and better. Not worth the ebay or craigslist hassle anymore.
 
I must be lucky. I just sold my iPhone 5 64GB Black (AT&T, unlocked via SwiftUnlocks) on eBay for $550 a few minutes ago. Maybe the addition of AppleCare+ helped boost the price.

Let this be a reminder that resell values for 32 and 64GB (for the extra 100-200 dollar you spend) are not going to be worth it if reselling is your goal.

The best resell value is always the cheapest model (the 16GB). Spend $200 subsidized for it or $650 full, you resell value is around $350-400 Craigslist (no fees)

Spend $300 or $750 and you resell value (net after fees) is $400-450 for 32GB model

Spend $400 or $850 and your resell value (net after fees) will be around $450-500

All markets are different for resell. These are just general values I am giving today. Plus added factors like applecare or extra like cases

$420 ebay is net price around $370-380? Right?
 
Got $455 on eBay for my mint condition i5 VZW 32GB. I accepted it, since the price I paid for retail, minus $455 equals the upgrade price which is what I paid without losing unlimited data ANNNNND got the upgrade price :)

Sell at gamestop if you want to get the new xbox one and ps4

sold my wife's ATT 16GB 4S for 290 + 30% extra trade in bonus = 377
sold an extra ATT 8GB 4 for 171 + 30% extra trade in bonus = 222.30
selling my ATT 32GB 5 for 433 + 30% extra trade bonus = 562.90

total 1,162.20 in store credit. paid in total for all the phones 500.99

paid off my ps4 and xbox one preorder

You sure you get the extra 30% trade bonus on that? If so, wow!
 
Had no problems selling mine. Sold my unlocked iPhone 5 32GB (with 7 days left on the warranty) locally for $500 the day after the iPhone 5s announcement. It was on the market for one day.
