Suddenly, there is no syncing between my MacBook and my iPhone with messages. Never had an issue before, but now I read them on my MacBook and it's not showing as read on the phone. I checked the settings for iCloud on the phone and there isn't even a Messages option under the settings. Am I missing something here?

I was under the impression that it was part of iOS 11. If that's the case, then why were the messages synched before and not now?

Did you use one of the ios 11 betas at some point then go back to public release versions? that would explain it.

No, but that would have been a simple reason why. It's not huge deal, but it was nice while it lasted!
