I'm all about phone insurance the cheap way - slapping on a screen protector and case. So far, no shattered screens to cry about.

I don’t use them. I absolutely HATE applying them and don’t find them useful at all. For my last two iPhones, I put screen protectors on at first but removed them after a few months, and I never had a single visible scratch on the screens.

I'm debating on this phone being my first phone I don't use screen protectors on. The only thing i'm super nervous about is the accumulation of surface scratches over time.

Is that even still really a thing? I don't ever put my phone in my pocket with other things (like keys/wallet etc...) but still worried they will show up somehow.

thoughts?
Get yourself a Peli R60 protective case. And you can forget about scratches, rain, puddles, snow, rivers, mud and accidental falls from the stairs )))) And you don't need to glue glass or films.
