One important thing to note that someone else brought to my attention: Apple doesn't update Tuesdays following a Monday holiday. Remember July 4 (a Monday)? They didn't update until the Wednesday following.
Way to ruin all the fun

no, j/k, good observation

it's been updated, with nowt much on it.
Hmmmm...window of opportunity for new products still open though, right?!
Maybe more things will appear when the news is announced, its just hiding!
I'm looking forward to the news later on from this event! :)

Upload Music?

What about the ability to sell or give away your music? Perhaps even music from your Garageband. Have your own store with iTunes 5. That would be huge but difficult to regulate. Someone might try to sell something they don't own.

Yes, intriging idea, but as you say, hard to regulate. There could be expansion on the iMixes though! But they could screen them, like they do the Podcast directory.

The link that you click on the main page to get the screen with all the flags now says 'Choose music store' on the UK Page...but still says 'Choose store' on the US one.

Oz iTMS, pleeeeeaseeee..... iTunes 5 would be pretty sweet though, maybe on the 7th...

Hang on, it is the 7th!!! Oh, wait.... bugger...
I hope so too-iTunes 4.9.1 or 5.0, Motorala iTunes compat. phone (wonder if any Aussie carriers Telstra or Virgin or Optus will support it).

Maybe some form of downloable additional visualisations for iTunes, like WnAmp and WMP on the PC does and Spotlight intergration. Support for .ogg would be nice ( open source like Webkit), as would a advanced tage editor like WMP.

Hmmm...possibility of video store then, eh?! Shame its looking like US only at the moment, if it does turn out to be something! (Still feel sorry for people who don't have a normal iTMS)

There are already downloadable vis plug ins for iTunes, how would you integrate Spotlight any further? They got the idea for Spotlight from iTunes' search abilities. It is possible to get .ogg playback through iTunes (but not iPod) via a Quicktime plug-in. What sort of advanced tags are you talking about?

still no updates on the canadian store :( :). Sad for no new music but happy at the possibility of updates.

Why not try going to the actual store...clicking on 'just added' and see the whole list of music for 6th September.
