iPod touch No new iPod touch in the fall?

iPod updates in November for the holidays? (Only capacity upgrades)....

iPod Touch is their best selling ipod and you think they would just kick it to the side of the road just because the upgrades aren't adequate enough? The price is not a factor since the ipod touch sells much more units than the ipad. iPad can only expand as much as Macs, thats why you still see after all these years, windows operating system still dominate 90% of the market. The iPad is a rip off, more of a luxury item and Apple knows it. The ipod touch is a legitimate device that can still expand and control the market so that no other competitor can catch up, circa 2000 CE, Apple Macs vs Microsoft Windows.

What i'm saying is Apple really seems to focusing on the ipad and if they did what i said and released it in the fall and not release a new ipad they could start selling more ipad units and also put them in the hands of a different age group (teens) because parents (my parents certainly wouldn't) but a lot of parents, grandparents etc. will buy for christmas gifts for children, grandchildren etc. not trying to make an argument as I am probably a lot younger and less smart in this type of stuff than you but it was just an idea I had that seemed to make sense.

Don't see why apple needs to update ipod touch lines. Right now, ipod touch has no competition. Apple might just keep everything the same and focus on iphone instead.

It looks to me like they are going to refresh the iPad, iPods and iPhones in time for Christmas. Of course it will mean people will have problems getting hold of them in 2011.

We already have the rumours about new iPads and iPhones in the next few months and there is no reason not to update the iPods too or they could miss out on Christmas sales.

I guess its a complement since you treated my writing as an older person but I can assure you that we may be very close in age group.

Sept - Nov should be the range. however to diminish the shipping problems/out of stock, there may be a refresh in sept along with iPad 3, if not ipad3 may come out in 2012 with only an ipod refresh.
