I would like to order the new M1 13 inch MacBook Pro, but there is no option to trade in my 2020 intel MacBook Pro which I bought this past June. could this be an error in the trade-in page?
The new macs from 2020 are not trade in eligible I believe. Too new.I would like to order the new M1 13 inch MacBook Pro, but there is no option to trade in my 2020 intel MacBook Pro which I bought this past June. could this be an error in the trade-in page?

I'm with OP. I've not been happy with my Intel 2020 MBA. Hoping the changes with the M1 alieviate my problems. Why do you want to trade?
Sorry but why do you said that new M1 MBA makes 2020 intel obsolete? There is something that you could do before that you cannot do now that the M1 Mac is launched?Same here. I am frustrated that the M1 MBA makes the 2020 intel MBAs utterly obsolete (unless you need to run windows).
There should be a trade in option.

I compared what Apple would give me for my 2020 MacBook Pro and igotoffer.com offered me $700 more. The option to trade in is there now. Not the best offer but whatever.
Really? What 2020 MacBook Pro?I compared what Apple would give me for my 2020 MacBook Pro and igotoffer.com offered me $700 more.
There's always a better computer round the corner. Your M1 will be 'utterly obsolete' when M2 appears.Same here. I am frustrated that the M1 MBA makes the 2020 intel MBAs utterly obsolete (unless you need to run windows).

But at least the M2 and M1 is on the same performance curve. Right now Intel macs are miles behind the Apple Silicon in performance and power usage. With the MBP M1 outperforming the 16" Intel MBP at many tasks. There's always a better computer round the corner. Your M1 will be 'utterly obsolete' when M2 appears.
It's true! Every computer (and so on...) is already old when it comes out on the market! There's always a better computer round the corner. Your M1 will be 'utterly obsolete' when M2 appears.
It's true! Apple has introduced trade in for 2020 Macs that are still in for sale (MBP 2020 I5 10th Gen 16Gb 512Gb like mine at 2229€). I think they are completely crazy. 770 euros (trade in values) for a pc that sells for 2229 euros. 3 times devalued just out of the shop ...Really? What 2020 MacBook Pro?
I don't think so...I'm very sad I bought my MacBook pro 2020 base model in October and received it on November 6 and it still sealed, so do you think Apple will swap it for me with the new one?
too new to be trade inI would like to order the new M1 13 inch MacBook Pro, but there is no option to trade in my 2020 intel MacBook Pro which I bought this past June. could this be an error in the trade-in page?
theyre not obselete and the ARM macs have been on the cards for a while with it being a certainty they'd come this year. Just be happy with what you have there's always something newer and your mac is fine lol.Same here. You are within the holiday return period (at least right now). I am not exactly sure when that began, but I don't see how it would be a problem to return it. That's just me though. I would call and ask.I'm very sad I bought my MacBook pro 2020 base model in October and received it on November 6 and it still sealed, so do you think Apple will swap it for me with the new one?
