iPhone 7 ATT. Next to last iOS update.

iPhone started acting strange a few hours ago. Phone showing either no service or searching where the ATT icon and bars should be. Called att tonight and after 30 minutes on the phone with “Bob”, he asking me to give him the iccid number from the About page. There was not a iccid number. It didn’t say unknown, that line was just not on the page. Bob said bad sim.

Anyone eve have this experience?

Never see such thing. My SIM has ICCID shown as intended. Maybe what he said is right. You could try reinstalling your SIM card.

Changed SIM card, no joy. Tried a restore and the phone wouldn’t activate or restore either ota or via laptop iTunes. On the phone with Apple 2.5 hours. They are stumped. Opened an engineering ticket and they are suppose to call me Sunday.

New SIM card works fine in another phone.
