Since I have a Mini, I installed the Yahoo iPhone weather app now. We will see what happens in notifications. Not sure whether that had to be done or not but I guess so hopefully.

I have done everything in this thread and still cannot get weather on the screen???

Well I finally got it but unsure if installing the yahoo weather app made a difference or not but I did not have it before doing that so.

Now here or elsewhere it said to fully access the weather instead of the one line blurb you had to do something within that line. Well at least I got the one liner so far, lol!

I've got the summary of today's weather (Current forecast of rain/clouds, today's high, and nightly forecast) but I do not have the current temperature on that screen.

I saw images showing it during beta stages I guess, but apparently it did not make it to release? That's very disappointing, I really enjoyed being able to swipe down to see the current temperature..

There are no images in NC for Weather, nor were any ever advertised. Only a text description. Some times it will say the current temperature, sometimes it will just say the high and the low. But you can click the text description and it will open up the Weather app to your current location (on the iPhone).

The Weather app has dynamic weather on each weather tab displaying a depiction of the current weather.

I never said an image was supposed to be there or ever was. I said there are images of the current temperature listed at one point for iOS 7.

I'd like to see the text for the current temperature back on the summary like it was during the original keynote.

So far mine has not displayed the current temperature. I'm aware I can click that text to see the weather app, but it does not change the fact that it would be nice to see the current temperature listed like it used to be.

I misunderstood what you were saying about an image - my apologies.

Anyways, as I said, sometimes it will say the current temperature, other times it will just say the high and the low. From what I've seen after using iOS 7 for the past 3 months, it seems like it will say the current temperature in the morning and in the evenings, but during the time when the temperature is near the high for the day (which it does say usually in the description), it won't.

I don't know if this is how they have designed it, just describing what I've seen over the past 3 months.

No problem, sorry for the reaction.

Interesting about the dynamic-ness of that. I will have to monitor it throughout the next day and see if I see it pop up. I do wish I could opt for it to always show to be honest.

I agree with you - I'd like to see that as well. Definitely post here about what you notice, as I said, I have no idea if that's how it actually is working or how it is designed to work, just a pattern that I've noticed over the past 3 months. No idea if that's really how it functions, but who knows!

wow, I feel dumb...also feel like i tried that, thanks!

Sure thing!

Apple doesn't like customizable lock screens, for obvious reasons (people make them look trashy).
Not an "obvious reason" for me.

I should be able to make my lock screen look as "trashy" as I want without Apple acting like my mother, thank you very much.

:D

Swipe to the left on the city name (so swipe from the right side of the tab towards the left). It will bring up the option to delete.

On what screen do you swipe and where? Could you post a screen shot? I've swiped and swiped and nothing happens.

In the Weather app. You have to be in the locations list view. If you're on a particular city's weather page, just pinch to show all locations, or hit the list view button on the bottom right of the page. From there, you should see all of your locations that you have weather info for. Swipe from right to left on an individual location to bring up the option to delete.

Yes there was those options, but must of been deleted right at the GM...

I'm on that page...nothing happens when I pinch but I can bring up the city list as you show it here. But nothing happens when I swipe from either direction.

There were no options, and nothing has been deleted. I've been using iOS 7 since the first day beta 1 was released.

It really depends on the day and the condition. Some times of day it will show the current temperature. Depending on the conditions, it will tell me if it's partly cloudy, if there's an 11 mph wind coming from the NE, if there's scattered showers, etc..

It's been this way since the very beginning. Just observe it over the next few days, weeks with varying weather conditions.

Make sure you're not trying to delete your current location (it will have an arrow next to it). This cannot be deleted. Only a different location can be deleted. It only works if you swipe from right to left on the individual city tab.

Hmm. I live on the cusp between two towns, as show on the attached photo. But I've never selected "Calvert" as my location. Somehow either the weather app or the iPhone picked that location. So, do I change my location to somewhere else and if so, how? Where's the manual!!! :)

You don't have to select Calvert, it automatically detects where you currently are and displays the weather for it. Sometimes it may be a little off, but it selects what it detects to be closest to your current location.

Either way, you can't delete it without turning off Weather under Location Services in Settings. If you're trying to swipe to delete that, that's why it's not working.

Try adding another city, such as Cupertino, then swipe left on it to try to delete - just to make sure it works for you.

Tyler...thanks...you had the answer in both cases. I can swipe and delete all but "Calvert," unless I turn off Weather in PRIVACY/LOCATION SERVICES, but if I do that, I lose Weather in Notifications.

Ahh, computer software...

That is indeed how it works - and yep that's the trade off. But it's nice to have the local weather on, that way, you can always go in the Weather app to see the weather where you are currently (also nice to see WHERE you are - in case you're driving around..works 2 fold)

Bah, I am having the same problem with no weather in the Notification Center. Went through all the settings, power cycled the phone, even created an iCloud account. Nothing. For that matter I don't see anything other than the date and time in the Notifications unless I go to the "All" section where I see plenty of updates from Gmail and other apps. Nothing appears in "Missing" either.
