No White Iphones From Apple

Really? Because quite frankly, I ****ing remember Steve saying AVAILABLE TO PRE-ORDER ON JUNE 15... right after showing off the colors and prices... yes the **** they did promise me... and yeah, **** happens... but I'm a ****ing customer and I deserve to get what I want.

Dear Steve,

I am an obsessive Apple 'fanboy.' I work at Best Buy, and love selling Macs more than any other computers. I am extremely knowledge about all of Apple's products; but answer me this?

Why announce the iPhone 4 in two colors a little over 7 days ago, and then declare no pre-orders/in store reservations on launch day and give NO ETA? Seriously, this is pathetic. The White iPhone 4 has gotten tons of good press, with more pictures of it surfacing in articles than the black iPhone 4. You are losing hundreds of thousands of customers by the moment, as long as there are no pre-orders/reservations available.

Why would there even be a manufacturing constraint on this White iPhone 4? It has the same front/back design as the black iPhone 4 (which obviously old parts from 2G, 3G, and 3G S's would be incompatible with any iPhone 4), only differing in color. Is white paint really that expensive now-a-days?

Why even announce this thing in this color and then give a pedantic-no-effort method of explanation?

Without going complete PRSI, there is no such thing as 'reverse racism'. Racism is Racism. If there would be such a thing, it would be someone hating his own race.

If whites hate blacks, it's racism. If blacks hate whites, it's racism. nothing 'reverse' about it..

Sorry to rant, but it's a pet peeve of mine, since I've been the victim of it way too many times in my life.

Back on topic, I'm p****d that there isn't a white iPhone 4 as well. I'll wait, but this was a very pisspoor decision by Apple at the last minute, especially with touting it during the WWDC keynote. They could have handled this much better. It's going to make bad PR for them now.

Well, you would think that since there is so much hype over the new WHITE iPhone it would be available to the public the same date as the other PHONE, right?? Since the parts are the same, it's just the color that differs. It doesn't make sense.
 
Sent this a while ago.

I understand that s*** happens, Steve, but what the hell is the deal with no white iPhones at launch. If it were a production problem of some sort, you would have known at the keynote and this could have been announced. I hope you don't read the forums at macrumors.com because people are P-I-S-S-E-D. We deserved an announcement sometime in the past week, but we didn't get that, so we deserve one now.

That's true, but I'm blaming AT&T for "later this summer" as well on the white iPhone because that's what they stated in their e-mail :p even though apple provides them with the phones.

I'm kinda digging this. White will be an adventure to get at launch and be the envy of all mwhahahahaha!
 
LOL I e-mailed Steve Jobs too. I really hope his iPad/iPhone is on silent because all the new e-mail rings might wake him up.
 
Isnt it possible that the white pre orders will go live later in the day to help with the strain on the servers?

I don't give a **** about pre-ordering and reservations. I just want a white iPhone 4 on June 24th, 2010. Presumably, that is no longer happening.
 
iphone 4 is up for preorder!!1!!1 BUT WAIT there is no white lol srry forgot to tell you gaiz that last week lol!11!!

I was told today by an apple rep that both Black and white would be available today. Guess he Lied, this will not go well for apple in the press.

If they do bring out the white later on today, they will have alot of p***ed off customers that ordered black when they wanted white.
