No White VZW iPhone

Im ok with Verizon not getting the white version.

Both carriers are on different time schedules. Verizon should be 2nd to get hardware.
 
I know for a fact Verizon is getting white this week. Held one in my hand yesterday (see my other posts).
 
To directly quote my friends husband who works for Verizon: "No plans for a white Verizon iPhone".

His next text told me not to worry too much, he had only asked a few other employees, not a manager or anything of the sort, and there was unboxed shipment in the backroom that the manager had told them not to open. He doesn't expect the launch tomorrow, but he also doesn't expect it to be too far off either.

If I can order a white iPhone 4 for Verizon from Apple online tomorrow, whether it ships that day or in a week or two, it won't matter. I just don't want it to launch for AT&T and Apple to not mention ANYTHING about the Verizon version. Which I can see them doing.
 
If apple keeps treating the Verizon iPhone like the unwanted stepchild, I'm getting a Droid when my contract ends in December. I don't like these "favoritism" games.

Gotta love when everyone says AT&T iPhone or Verizon iPhone forget the rest of the world that uses the "AT&T iPhone" that has a lot more users by far that are under carriers that aren't AT&T. :rolleyes:

I was referring to the iPhone in the country I live in. Being that they are both U.S. carriers, other carriers having the phone doesn't affect me in the slightest.
 
so....still no word on whether it will be available on verizon?

I want to either sell my black one and get the white one, or hopefully convince my brother to upgrade to the white one and i'll do a switch!
 
I don't believe a word that comes out of Mark Gurmans mouth. He is the most condescending tech writer out there. I followed him on Twitter for a while and after a while I couldn't stand his ignorance anymore and had to unfollow him.
 
So why does nobody believe Apple's own press release?

Apple today announced that the white iPhone 4 will be available beginning tomorrow. White iPhone 4 models will be available from Apple's online store (www.apple.com), at Apple's retail stores, AT&T and Verizon Wireless stores and select Apple Authorized Resellers.

The white Iphone looks good, just not good enough for me to spend tons of money on. I like my black one and if I want white I will just have to buy a white case.:) I am a cheapskate like that. I am holding out my hope for a new generation Iphone in 2012 when my contract is up.

Hi there. I can't believe I had to make an account just to point out that I specifically said there would be no white Verizon iPhone launching April 27th (today). That is 100% correct: the white Verizon iPhone is launching April 28th (tomorrow).

I was also first to report, with proof, that the white Verizon iPhone is actually coming to Verizon at all. See this post from April 15th: http://www.9to5mac.com/61653/exclusive-white-iphone-4-shows-up-in-verizons-inventory/

from what i understand also att doesn't seem to be launching today eithier LOL! andatt may not have a 32GB version at launch.

how you figure VZW iphone allow 5 hotspot connection where att only allows 3.

VZW iphone is not hampered with the bad antenna issue, it is much harder to drop calls on vzw!

VZW does have the newer better Quallcomm chip where the att version does not.

Now VZW doesnt have 4.3iOSm att does, but that is because 4.2.7 iOS can do everything that 4.3

added plus for VZW is unlimited data
