Not the same.
The AirPods case case have hooks where I can attach to my belt loop.
The factory AirPods case can easily come out of my pockets (which it did and got an ugly collision with concrete).

I dont hate this at all. I just got the battery pack. Its big and looks like crap on the back of my black phone because GREEDY apple couldnt just make a black version, oh no, white first so everyone buys it, then more colors later for people to buy again.

Congrats. Most of us don't have COVID since we still have our sense of taste.😏😏

On a side note, the material used on the Apple Smart Battery MagSafe, I wish was the same on the AirPods case. Very nice matte finish to the new battery MagSafe…
 
So if get just the case, no battery pack, will it stick to my phone? I don’t care about extra battery, but I do want extra bulk.

Americans are so unfathomably wealthy, they're buying accessories for their phone accessories.

I'm envious of your wealth, though I'd like to think I'd spend my money more wisely.
 
What is up with all these accessory makers making accessories for accessories? Next it's going to be a cover for your holder that holds the MagSafe adapter to a table.

Don’t have an official MagSafe case, tried shaking the phone hard, did not come off.

Same result without the case. Just try it yourself, if you don’t like it then return it.
 
Forget the leather, can I spray paint it with this? Seriously It works great masking this ugly silver muffler system under my car. 😂

(That is...IF I bought this battery pack)

I have been looking at other brands...but ugh..I don't know what to think anymore.
