Nomad Rugged MagSafe case left this ring on my phone

Got a text notification from USPS that my Nomad would be delivered today between 1115 and 1515 even though I canceled the notifications since I was tired of the "in transit, arriving late" messages that gave no indication of where it actually was. If it actually shows up it'll only be three days late.

How do you like it so far? Will it be your daily driver or do you have a lineup like some other folks around here?
I think its a worthy case, I tried the Nomad on my XS a couple years ago but I liked the apple one more at the time because the bottom cutouts were kind of sharp and not as comfortable to hold. Also prefer an all leather case but Apple really screwed the pooch on that one eh?
I currently have 3 apple cases, baltic blue leather, red and navy blue silicone cases. Plan on selling the silicone ones as I never use them and my baltic blue can be the case I use when I go to the beach since it looks comparable to the cobblestone sidewalks in Italy.
Wish the bullstrap elite MagSafe was coming out soon so that I could choose between the two..
So the bottom cutouts on the Nomads this year are an improvement?
Shame that it’s taken as long as it has to get here because it’s given me more time to get attached to my Apple leather case. What do you mean they screwed the pooch on the all-leather aspect?
I think the cutouts on the one I got are a bit better, but time will tell if its going to be as painless as the Apple cases.
The leather Apple used this year is much different than previous years, it feels harder and turns black instead of gradually darkening. I tried both the saddle brown and baltic blue for three months and they both ended up looking very bad. Maybe the black one will blend better since its a dark gray.
Here are pictures taken about two weeks ago, case looks much worse now. Never dropped or got it wet either.

I have had 2 black Apple leather cases, one before xmas and new one is a week old, i don't know if it's the heat or humidity here but they are sticky/clammy, like touching bluetack.

I received the black case today for my 12 Pro. Fit and finish is very good, just as the one for my PM is. I will say that this case has less of a spongy feel to the buttons and more towards the clicky feeling. All in all, I’m very happy with both cases and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
Wow, that looks good. You’ve now got me contemplating getting one in brown, as well.
Just switched back to my regular 12 from the mini and I’m back in the natural Nomad. This has to be the ugliest case made, but I love it.

Those, to me, just don’t look that good. I know some people love that color option, though. For some reason, they always seem to look dirty to me.
I had a mini for a few days last week. I loved that little phone’s size, but whenever I’d read things like the forums here it was like I got some kind of tunnel vision and felt a little nauseous after a while. I figured it was just because of the smaller screen. I adjusted the font size, but that didn’t help.
I definitely agree. My natural case looks really dirty rather than aged. It’s much darker now and hopefully it’ll even out with more use.
Heck, given enough time and depending on how the leather ages, it would look really nice if that turned out to look like a lighter shade of the saddle brown Apple cases.
Yeah but same old issues, stiff buttons and tough on the pinky, I have the 12 black and did the razor blade fix which solved that, pinky doesn’t worry me easy to adjust anyway, I had the black for My XR for a year too.
My Mrs has the brown folio so know how they look after 2 years, I prefer black.
That is something for me to take into account. Someone who’s actually had and seen how the brown version looks with some age. I think I’ll just stick with my black. No need to have every case in every color option, anyway. The black still looks really nice, especially with my graphite version.
I’m not bothered by the buttons on my 12 Pro. They do seem quite a bit better than the one for my PM.
