Haha. I think most guys end up storing their stuff in their significant other's purse anyway. At least, that's what I did/used to do. :D

Anyway, I just wanted to say I picked up my lovely iPhone 6 in silver just now. Drove from Davis, CA to Burlingame, CA and back. 160+ miles for a block of aluminium and glass. Totally worth like a thousand times over. Hope you guys hear some news about your orders! The grass is so damn green on the other side!
 
This whole thing sucks. I cant stand this process when i was before midnight and everybody, i mean everybody gets there's before me....I will never do business again with these guys. worst CS reps, not one of them has told me anything worthy of an excuse of to why its first come, last to get...
 
iPhone 6 plus 64g space gray ordered on 9/11 at 11:58 delivery date stuck on 10/2-10/13 since i ordered my phone on ATT website.

Talked to the presidents office and they cant do a thing, guess im just waiting sucks!
 
Free att iphone case/apple care

If you been a att Customer for a couple of years there giving free iphone 6 cases.they don't just send it to you though they give you a bill credit. You have to call 611 and tell them that your aware of the customer program. Where att Credits your account because you're unsatisfied.they will put a credit on your account for the price of the phone case. if you know that you had previous credits that go over hundred and 50 bucks they probably won't credit your account because there's a line drawn in the sand pretty much of how much credit they can give you per year.. Some people even get apple care. I am a non premier member as well :)

Long time reader and first time poster.

Just wanted to update you all on my status.

Ordered from AT&T on 9/12 about 30 minutes after the site opened. I was in the 10/2-10/13 group. Today I cancelled my order and was able to my get my iPhone 6 + through sprint at a target store.

If anyone here has their status change from backorder to being processed when you call the 877 number, please post! I just called and still BACKORDERED. BOO :confused:
 
Thinking of canceling my plus order and going to the Apple Store. I'm on next so no instore pick up for me. So I would have to roll the dice and just walk in. I heard that apple is not allowing walkins. Just order pickup. Any truth to that?

I went to Burlingame, CA today to pick up my iPhone 6 (gave up on 6 Plus) and there was a dedicated line for walk-ins and store pick-ups. In fact, the walk-in and store pick-up lines were given equal priority, i.e., one person from walk-in line goes in and gets helped out by a store employee and the next person in line is the first person in the store pick-up line and back and forth. So alternating but equal priority no matter what line you were in. These two Chinese ladies lined up at the same time I did and they apparently were buying 2 iPhones each. I have no idea if the store employee understood if they meant 2 total, i.e., one per person, or 2 per person as was stated (partly in Mandarin which is why I know all of this).

The store I went to seemed to have plenty of iPhone 6 stock since the line for walk-ins was slightly longer than the store pick-up line. When you got into either line, a store employee would ask you what you were there for and if you were a walk-in; they would check on their iPad/iPhone POS thing and make sure there was stock before allowing you to get in line.

Sadly, AT&T has roughly the same number of subscribers as Verizon. So I don't see them going away soon despite how absolutely awful their CS is. My mother used to work at an AT&T call center (so she'd be one of the people we all yell at when we call AT&T, although you'd have to request a Mandarin-speaking CSR) and she quit one day when her manager asked her to be dishonest and lie to the customer in order to sell them a more expensive plan/package. All of her co-workers complied... she drew the line and refused to cross it.

I have a love/hate relationship with this thread. I love not having to suffer through the "premiere" updates. On the other hand, I am sad that we haven't had any updates on our orders shipping. All the premiere members have to do is read about our lack of movements and they would realize there is a real benefit to being "premiere".:( until non premiere starts to ship

I agree with you totally it's depressing when I hop over there and see them with yay it shipped crap #

Sure hope we get some good news of phones shipping soon...this thread needs some excitement...I'm getting tired of calling and hearing your phone is back ordered and seeing "preparing to ship" on my status page #

Is it just me or did AT&T crack down on the auto refresh of their check order status page? Mine keeps displaying "E0036: Your session has timed out. Please login again to view your online order status." after the initial query. I loaded the auto refresh for safari and had been running the refresh every minute for several days, as I'm sure many others have.

tracking?

hey guys congrats on those who got tracking yesterday. You've all graduated and probably won't be back. You'll be missed.

I received the change from back ordered to processing on the 877 782 8870 number at about 8:30 pm best time last night.

as of 5:38am est time today i have not received tracking like some of you and it still says shipping.

how many of you that had the back order change still have not received tracking today or last night???
