Do you think you can learn everything about becoming a gynecologist from a book? Or a lot of practice with a rubber model?

You need experience with the real thing tovarish.

If you don't like Apple you'll be very unhappy building iPhone apps. You need a device. You need to see how other apps do things.

If your goal was to come here and tell us all the reasons why you hate doing this congratulations. You succeeded! Maybe you can tell us how much snow is in your street. That could be interesting.

As I said above - I dislike Windows either and it does not prevent me to write efficient programs that y clients love to use. I came from Unix and big database management, but unfortunately here (in Australia) niche for such activity is rather limited. So what is wrong with extending your skills? Trust me, I do not need to use it - I will do it in wrong way anyway - my clients will tell me what they unhappy with and I will fix it. Furthermore - more I use it means less time left to study it. Rubber doll? I have emulator. You have to be in love with math to be successful mathematician, but you never need to be in love with cars to be successful mechanic. If you cannot get it, I can explain you difference - one is creative, another mechanical (yep, punt intended). YMMV though.

Reason why I post here was to find ways how I can distribute my programs. From first glance it seemed to me that iStore is only way and I was in (stupid) hope that community will show me other possibilities. I am glad and appreciative - you showed me where I have to steer and this is exactly what I am doing. So I cannot get you frustration about me not being crazy about iPhone - it is not dislike of iPhone in particular, but rather disliking whole idea. FWIW after using few I came back to Nokia 6310 - you can search internet if you do not know what is that. I am happiest man since. And yet I am not getting why I cannot be a programer of such devices if I happens to dislike them for my personal use?

Oh, my wife using one and love it. So according to your logic if I dislike iPhone I should stop relationship with my wife? IMHO kindergarten mentality.

Cheers.

Your logic is backwards. Your wife likes iPhone and is the consumer. She will be the one who gives you up because your product isn't as good as the competition.
