Lucky. I still check my status multiple times a day, just in case it shipped. It should ship on Tuesday and get to me a couple days later... so fingers crossed!
 
My shipping data was send to FedEx at 7:55PM tonight. My shipment is expected to arrive Sept. 11th...crap. I guess I'm not getting Merom (even worse is that I had it shipped to my cousin in Oregon to avoid Sales tax so it will take another week after she gets it for me to get it. So I'll have it about a month after school started.:(

I just read this on Page 2:
Finally, independent but unconfirmed reports claim that the MacBook will receive quiet speed bumps later this month (Sept 25th), but no word on whether or not the Core 2 Duo would be used.

Well, if it's just a bump to a 2.16 Yonah I can handle it.
 
Anyone else had any luck? My shipping status still says the 24th Aug. (ordered on 20th), no chance of contacting Apple as they shut Customer Services over the weekend in the UK, don't know what it is like in the US?

I see people who ordered after me are now getting their's shipped :mad:

This experience has really angered me, Apple's customer relations are atrocious.

Oh and to satisfy macwhack, I hope everyone who has had a shipped MacBook enjoys it :p
 
Another data point for you guys:

- I ordered Aug 20. Email said delayed to Aug 31. Finally shipped Sep 2 (FedEx tracking says from China, and received after cutoff time). My only consolation is that they don't have Labour Day in China!

- Black Macbook, 1 Gig memory, 100 Gig hard drive.
 
Vanguy they must have shipped ours together. Mine says the same thing. I wonder when Fedex will have a delivery date. I'm having mine sent to OR (I live in AZ) and ill be in OR this weekend so I'm hoping that it arrives one (business day) early and gets there Saturday instead of Sunday. Otherwise I probably won't have it til the 18th.:( :(
 
Okay, Fedex updated their site and it's supposed to arrive on Sept. 7th. Which means I should gte it this weekend.:D :D :D :D

Which is quicker Fedex Ground or Federal Express. BTW my macbook has left Memphis,TN on Sunday at 3.22pm. Hopefully Tuesday i get it. Notbad considering Labor day and weekend in between. I cant hardly wait:D :D

iMac order to be delivered on Sep. 12

I ordered an iMac Core Duo 20" more than two weeks ago in Spain and have received two emails from the Apple Store delaying its shippment due to "unexpected number of orders and availability of that product" which is kind of suspicious taking into account the latest rumors about upgraded Macs on Sep. 12. Finally, it was shipped on Aug. 31 but the delivery date fluctuated several times around Sep. 12! Now it's been stalled at that date ... I really hope I could just get one of the upgraded iMacs because Apple never took almost to weeks to deliver any computer to me here (around 2-3 days for the other computers I've ever ordered).

When I get the computer I will like to post about whatever it is inside! :)
 
i feel so sorry for all of you without your laptops. this happened to me with an old ibook and i have never ordered directly from apple again. I got my macbook from a reseller and put installed the ram the instant i bought it. to bad im returning it for a macbook pro.

There is fedex express and fedex ground;) . Many different ways of delivery. Well I found out that Fedex express is quicker than fedex ground
 
My Macbook's status didn't update today... still showing for a ship date tomorrow. I really hope it came as fast as the iPod did (Shanghai to New York in 2 days). I want it before I have to go to school.
 
I've got a Macbook and iPod on order, and even though it at first said it would ship out on the 13th and arrive on the 18th, I just got an e-mail (today is 4th) they've been shipped from Holland, and will take 5-6 days to reach me.

A mate of mine who's received Apple goods from Holland before said it always took just 2-3 days, though. Excited!

Even though it practically won't matter to me, I'm praying there won't be an MB upgrade on the 12th, hell, until next year. The bitterness would be hard to swallow, and I'd be in constant pain from kicking myself...

Oh, well. My first Mac. Can't bloody wait.

Hey everybody. It is good to hear that most of the macbooks have been shipped now. Mine shipped on the 1st and arrived to Illinois this morning.

It is not Merom. Don't be dissapointed.

finally!

My MacBook was meant to ship yesterday (5th) and it didn't and I was like, "Oh no... not a delay" but then it shipped this morning from China... so I'm happy.

Mine just shipped this morning from Sozhou China! Anyone know how long it takes via FedEx to get to Pennsylvania from there?:confused: :eek:

That's interesting. Both my iPod and MacBook shipped from China. The iPod made it over here crazy fast though, so I'm hoping the MacBook will do the same.

I checked on the FedEx website and according to them it usually takes 2-3 days to get from China to Canada or Mexico and 2-5 to get to the U.S. ... that doesn't exactly make sence.. but ok whatever. I guess the biggest question now is, where is FedEx'es closest International hub, to me. Oh well... the macbook has shipped... that is half the waiting :)
 
Just got my tracking number, says it's coming Friday at 10:30AM :D How a package gets from China to New York City in 2 days is unbelieveable, but FedEx is amazing :D

It didn't have the delivery date earlier when I checked.. wow China to Williamsport, PA in 2 days... isn't the modern era wonderful? :)
