This is kind of unrelated, but how is it that a couple of kids can duck tape a flip cam to a weather balloon and get footage of Earth that looks like it was shot in a Hollywood studio, yet these news stations invest millions in aerial cameras and it still looks like security cam footage of a poorly lit parking lot?

c'mon people, you didn't know him personally. it shouldn't affect you that much that you have to cry, go to his funeral, or go to anything that is a celebration of his life. that's for family and friends only.

Says who.... YOU?

****. People can feel and grieve any way they want, not how you see fit. Idiot.

You certainly are indeed guessing, so you're right about that...You're making an awful lot of assumptions.

Not to mention coming of as some holier than thou DB.

I think

I THINK that cupertino has a no fly rule other than emergencies, and also they probably didn't want to be acting like it was some Kardashian wedding with all the TV choppers trying to get footage that nobody really wanted them to make an effort to get in the first place.

So, they were probably HIGH UP or far away and had to over leverage either optical or digital zooms on the iphone 4s that they were shooting the video with (in honor of Jobs. :)

It's truly bizzare that you people are getting so emotional over a person you've never known. A person who thought of you more as sheep than people. A person who lied about having cancer and really died of aids. The fact you people need a hero that bad is just pathetic. The rest of the world knows what a pos Jobs was and we're glad he's in hell now sucking the devils dik.

right

You're getting downright irrational. From the pics here, about 3/4 of the people at the event were taking video/pictures at the memorial--and most certainly that content will become public. You think Apple is going to fire 3/4 of its employees?

At such a large scale event the senior management knew people would take pics and video and that it would end up on youtube--they aren't worried. In fact, Steve Jobs death and the reaction has been a huge free publicity event for Apple.

A few people may have taken pictures but next to none. Furthermore I would wager that almost no one took a video. Can you imagine everyone being told 'no photography or videography' and then someone at apple disobeying that command? Especially with hundreds/thousands of coworkers looking over your shoulder. It wouldn't and didn't happen, I'm interested in the pics you cite that feature people taking pictures.

I was under the impression that it was a private event because they didn't want sheer pandemonium on campus... not because they are going to cut out the tongues of anyone daring to share information about the event to the rest of the world. For FS, lighten up, people.

It's a company affair, not a world wide affair.

A lot of people are so selfish, only thinking for themselves. "I" "Me" Mine".

If they want it to be private, respect their wishes.

Well, Apple did put the 'i' in 'I'.

Not sure about the Norah songs but she did do a Bob Dylan cover, forever young.

Cp did yellow, speed of sound, fix you, and a new song I'd never heard before.

The first song Norah did is called "Nearness of you" and the second "painter song". Both of them by her on the album " come away with me".

The last song Cold play did was "every tear drop is a waterfall", incase no one answered.

I was reading your post agreeing with it and thinking you sounded quite reasonable. Then I read point 3, and thought you utter utter ****. What a patronising arrogant person you are.
I think you nailed it with ****

Good to see you are still posting ?
