Normal Battery Life People

I have 8:47 of standby, 1 hour and 58 minutes of usage since last full charge (includes some music listening, email checking, web browsing in that 2 hours)

I have about 85% battery left.... I ran it down to about 15% yesterday, charged it over night and it seems to be lasting beautifully today.

I don't think I've ever seen any Usage or Standby numbers. It always says that it's not fully charged yet. The problem now is that I'm in Canada, will they still honour their warranty. I didn't do any hardware unlocking, so the case was never opened. and software can be very easily virginized.

I've charged it with both USB and wall charger overnight, and it still always says "Usage times will be displayed after a full charge".


Edit: Does usage data get cleared after a hard reset (Home/Sleep button hold)? Maybe that's why I've been missing my numbers, I'm using a jailbroken phone, and every now and then I have to reset, or reboot/respring after an update or install.

Edit 2: I just charged my phone overnight, and in the morning, I got a plugged icon, 0 minutes in the usage meters, and NO glow. weird.
And i've been using my iPhone for about 8 hours a music a day, 2 hours of browsing, and maybe 5 minutes or so of talk time. and by the time i get home, i normally still have about 40% left.

usage: 4hours and 48 minutes and living barely
standby: 2 days and 1 hour
i dont know people i check my email and i see my battery decrease really slowly these phones just beg to be used so thats why battery just goes down should i take it to apple to take a look or what?

Mine is really good, I would say on par with my previous iPhone 4
WiFi, BT always On, mail via Push, 3G switch set to off, so it's only GSM/EDGE and I have to say that this really makes the difference (iOS 5.1 beta 3)
I'm really happy now

after numerous trial-n-error iOS5.01 on my 4S 32GB
i think i found the cause.

i have switched off Settings>Mail Contacts..>Fetch = OFF!!!
3G = ON (can't switch off at 5.0.1)

mine used to require a charge every 8 hours even half of the time standby.
did some checks.. i now have photo stream on and still have the below stat.
need more time to tell thou.

I updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 5.0.1 and I notice the battery drain almost instantly. I'm in the military and I hit the gym at 5am and then PT and 6am. After that my workday is 9am until 5pm. Before I updated I from iOS 4.5 I was getting a full day and some with it. Now I'm not getting a full day. I have to take my charger to work with me.

Currently at 6 hours usage 15 hours standby, at 18%.

Is this a good battery level? The usage was mainly music, app downloading/updating, and words with friends.

My battery usually lasts the day with light use, but i've heard about people who can last 2-3 days between charges.

I dont know whats normal nowadays. Normal for me is 4 hours usage -lte and jailbroken. 1% drop per 3 mins. So sad.

I got about 24+hours if not playing games. While web surfing and playing games frequently it will only last about 8 hours.
