Good job nobody has found a use for it yet or that might have annoyed somebody.
Most people I see with MacBooks don't seem to know you can edit the dock. They don't add nor remove anything.they instruct you to open System Preferences from the Dock, but how many people leave that icon in the Dock?

This was my experience as well. I think the software was called "Examsoft," it was terrible, but was essentially a basic OS/app combo that provided only enough functionality to permit typing an answer and uploading it to their server. It sure as hell didn't have drivers for Touch Bar, lol.
Most people don't buy a laptop based solely on keyboard... Besides, I doubt this exam has that much writing; it's not like English or History or something. Why wouldn't you want to use a real typing laptop instead for such an important exam like this...like a lenovo thinkpad
the macbook looks great but for real work typing, nothing beats the thinkpad's keyboard.
I'm surprised they don't just use the honor system for these law students.
Love it!That's a Touchy Bar Examination.![]()
Why do they have to figure it out? Are they under any obligation to make Apple laptops work and ignore other vendors?Typical- Fear what you don't understand instead of making the effort to figure it out.
Update 2: terrible pun discovered in title of article. Article completely removed out of shame.
Or maybe they think it's more useful than most MacRumors readers!![]()
A complete ban is ridiculous, they don't know what they're talking about if they think it's a real threat.
Having said that, Apple seemed to have stopped considering students in their notebook design in many aspects. But this was not on my list and shouldn't be a problem.
Cali completely cancels Cupertino's computer to dissuade contingent courtroom counselors from corrupting bar with 'Book's barred bar.Just updated the post with more info. MacBook Pro w/ Touch Bar is entirely banned for the 2017 Bar Exam in California. Can't even use it after disabling the app-specific stuff.
Bar as the legal Bar and bar as the Mac Bar...What's the pun? I don't see it...
