I've got some trips coming up and I was looking forward to having it for those, especially the maps app. It always looked weird to me walking around with my iPhone looking at directions and now with the watch it'll just buzz me when I need to turn.
I also love the idea that it looks like the wrist communicator from the early Star Trek movies!

I have 2 watches: 38mm Milanese loop and 38mm SS w/black sport band. Orders placed at 12:06 and 12:07 Pacific (I was in the Bay Area on 4/10, so no 3am wakeup for preorder, which was nice). AMEX with ApplePay.
Neither has been charged yet and I'm still in processing. Bah.

Apple Watch coming to Greenville, SC on Friday!
What up my Carolina peeps! Just found this thread and thought I would chime in with my standing. I preordered space gray
Watch Sport at 3:01 am (EST) on the Apple Store app on my phone. I was quoted with a delivery date of 4/24 thru 5/8. I didn't see any updates to my order status until yesterday at about 5pm, when I saw that my credit card was charged (monitored it all day), and shortly there after, my apple account updated the status from "processing" to "preparing to ship" (monitored that all week, and continue to!).
There has been no movement since. Now I am constantly refreshing UPS and FedEx's websites, trying to see if I can see when it actually ships!

I now have a tracking # from UPS. Delivery is overnight but the package won't be picked up until the 23rd according to the UPS app. The Apple status has not changed yet though.
Sounds like things are good for you then! Apparently most are being delivered next day air.
How'd you pull yours up? I need to hit UPS again. I've not gotten a MyChoice email yet.

Mine is preparing. I was charged yesterday. Nothing in UPS My Choice for me.
Greenville, SC here. My 38 SS white arrives Friday. Got the UPS alert yesterday afternoon. UPS pretty regularly delivers to me between 10 and noon. I am considering holding at the customer center though to ensure pick up.
In other news Haywood mall store only has watch workshops on Saturday... (And only two of them) I can't make it at all on Saturday since I'm busy. I wish they had one on Friday. I am sure I will know more about the watch in what I have read already and the first 30 min with it than the workshop can tell me but it still would have been fun to go on Friday afternoon.

I live in Sanford, NC but work in Cary, NC.
My 42 MM sport, space gray with black band was charged out on Monday and went in to prepared for shipment right after. I haven't seen any updates since. I am hopeful for Friday!
I'm near Raleigh. I ordered the 42mm sport with white band. Got my confirmation email at 3:04. Mine moved to preparing to ship and charged my credit card about the same time as everyone else. I've tried all the tracking methods and haven't had any luck getting a tracking number. Still hoping for a Friday 4/24 delivery.
Asheville here - Ordered the black 42mm sport with black band. Card has been charged, and status has been changed to "preparing for shipment ".
Still waiting on my 42 mm SS with black sport band. It was being charged and prepared in the UK a few hours ago. I'm positive I'll get some movement on mine today. Just need to get that rolling so I can have it held at the hub here in Columbia so I can pick it up Friday morning.
