Wow. I am amazed how fast it is. And I thought the 5s was fast after these 2 years. Apple never seems to fail. Anyone else feel that this iPhone is the best upgrade ?

All new phones are fast.

I am looking for refinements and efficiency. That means iOS 9.1.

I totally agree. I've bought every iPhone but this year's update is easily the most amazing ever. The jump in performance is just incredible. You have to see it to believe how smooth and beautiful everything becomes. 3D Touch is awesome. I thought it was a bit of a gimmick, but I immediately miss it when I'm using an older iPhone or iPad. The camera is easily the best ever in any smartphone. And the 4k video this thing is capable of shooting is just mind-blowing.

If anyone is on the fence about upgrading, I wouldn't hesitate to pull the trigger. These new iPhones are just so far ahead of everything else now - I'm embarrassed for the competition.
You are awesome dumy, I absolutely love your enthusiasm.. Genuine question, what do you think of the screen against for example an s6 which display mate said and I quote, was perfect...

AMOLED isn't everyone's cup of tea. ;)

And Touchwiz still sucks. Yes, Samsung has trimmed it down since S4, but it's still icky compared to other variants of Android.

Might I also add that Samsung is the laziest(?) one among the Android phone manufacturers to roll out OS updates. Many users still haven't got their Lollipop, and Marshmallow is already knocking on the door now.

I wasn't talking about TW, but it's obvious you having used it for a couple of years.. Its so light these days.. But that's by the by.. The question was about the screen, whether you like it or not the s6 has a gamut accuracy of 160% , there is nothing in the market remotely close to that.. The 6s isn't even in the top 5 for accuracy.. Measured by scientific equolment not brand bias...I'm just interested if the most biased poster MR has ever known will admit that one of these competitors that are light years behind has a significant advantage in one of the most important aspects of a handset.. And that's before we mention the s6 edge which is undeniably the prettiest design ever seen in a handset.. Or the camera/video advantage.. Where in another thread, serious camera professionals are discussing with great technical terms how the 6s is vastly inferior to the 6 month old s6.. We won't mention.the stolen gimmick that is live pictures.. So with that in mind, I'd really love to know how the 6s is light years ahead ?

I'm just totally digging how the 6s Plus feels to use. Unlocking the phone and jumping from app to app, web page to web page, etc. is buttery smooth. The CPU and RAM bump made a ton of difference. It was the one area the iPhone was previously not quite there. Also I think a lot of the crashing on the 6 Plus was because not enough RAM to work with. This latest upgrade took care of all that and then some. Browsing and tab switching is now as fast as a modern PC. Nicely done Apple.

Definitely! I went from the 6+ to 6s. Performance, one handed usage and 3D Touch is what I love about this iteration!

Haven't been this excited about iPhones since iphone 5! :))

You guys are nuts. Going from the 5 -> 6+ was by far the best iPhone upgrade ever. A little more oomph and a neat screen feature could never match the huge display jump.

I now know to go with S models. 4S and 5S were my favorite iPhones, and now the 6S. This is the best iPhone ever. iPhone 6 Plus WAS A DOG. I'm going 4 years in between upgrades so I'll see you guys on iPhone 8S.

Maybe its because I am jaded a bit now, and there are so many dazzling gadgets all around. With the iPhone 5, 6+, 6S+; I don't think I have felt the exhilaration of having brought home the first gen iPhone or even the iPhone 4 with retina display.

Agreed. This is by far the best upgrade. This thing is 10x better than the 6.

Without question this is the best upgrade yet by a more significant margin than any S upgrade before. I could not go back to my 6. This is just a dream to use.

I think putting up with the poor performance of the 6 Plus has made me appreciate this upgrade that much more. I've been exciting like a little kid on christmas ever since I got it. It just feels so good to have everything fluid, smoothy, and snappy again. Reminded me why I buy iPhones over the competition.

I upgraded from my 6+ to the 6s+ and I'm really enjoying the phone so far. It's definitely faster than the 6+ and I love the 3D Touch, Live photos, and quicker Touch ID. Only thing I don't like is the occasional lag/freeze once my device wakes from TouchID and the home screen gets frozen for a second or two.

This is my iPhone that I upgraded after one year and I'll probably continue doing so.

Its my miles snappier than my laggy s6. All they have to fix is the lag on initial unlock.

to stop the lag/freezes, restore your phone through iTunes and restore Backup through iTunes. All your problems will be solved.

tried this last night and the lag/freezes disappeared.
