Not Having a Lot of Luck

I find it pretty sad that people are willing to pay $$$ for three-year-old machines. Tells a lot about how good they were and the direction Apple is going today.

Right, I had been sitting on ~$3k+ for a new high end BTO 15" for a long time but Apple just couldn't deliver, and I got sick of waiting. Figured this base will tide me over for a while until Apple gets it together, because I just plain wanted a new machine after using my 2010 for the past 8 years, even though it was still working fine; was happy to still get $260 for it trading it in.
