That's because leather, like metal can and is designed to patina over time... plastic is not.If it was leather it would've been called patina.
Ah nice, assumption time from the self proclaimed marketing department. Nice how you dismissed everyone with a bad experience in one blanko statement. Telling. If you take good care of the product, FineWoven cases age like the finest of fine wines. I love mine and anyone calling it a piece of junk should be forced to use Android for a year.
I do hope you're right. This is not a bad idea but it seems that there are improvements to be made, there are far too many complaints for Apple not to take notice. Again as I posted before, the many, many non-Apple choices in cases are generally a better value for the money.I do need to inform myself on this; the whole point of vegan leather is to leave the animals in peace…
but besides maybe alligator skin leather, we don’t really kill animals only FOR the leather, instead animals die already no?
We use as much a possible for food, supplements, medicine and tons of things including leather. But now the leather part is wasted and in vain?
Nothing against this FineWoven experiment at the same time, maybe it will be enhanced over the next iterations
Definitely looks like oils and skin from her hands building up. I imagine the fine weave catches and holds on to debris better than most other cases. At first I didn't really take a look at the photo because I've seen a bunch of "FineWoven" sucks posts. But then I looked at it and this might be partially her issue. Take a look at her lenses. Heck, even the glass next to the lenses is dirty. I don't doubt that the FineWoven cases don't age well, but she may need to wash her hands more often than the monthly ritual she currently has going on.
Hence my remark when I replace my iPhone 12, I am getting an Incipio or Otterbox case.I'm shocked people were buying it, especially buying a light one that shows everything.
This was a huge failure on Apple's part. Was any testing done at all?

Wouldn’t it be equally as “nice” an assumption to dismiss everyone that hasn’t had any issues with one blanket statement? Isn’t it just as telling? I mean, anecdotal experiences with no empirical data are all the same… right?
