iPod touch Not Yet Shipped?

Im wondering if anyone who ordered a 64GB version has gotten thiers delivered...I knwo they got sent to some stores but I dont know if anyone who has ordered directly Apple has gotten one.

64GB and still not yet shipped.

Actually peole should respond with the size they ordered and if they have received it yet.

Because I'll have time to deal with mall on the weekend.... it's the traffic and the parking (at both malls ... there is an Apple store in Durham and Raleigh) that I hate dealing with..

I only ordered online because it was more convenient to have it delivered than me going out to the mall to get it. ....
 
mine finaly is "prepared for shipment" :D:D
ordered sept 1 and its going to austria.... so looks like now its the european turn. will see how and from where they ship it....

32GB - It looks like there's a possibility it might have started processing tonight, had I not cancelled, but honestly, I'm not happy about pre-ordering, and receiving my Touch, at the earliest, on the 13th. Decided to cancel the order, and I'll pick one up from Birmingham, if there are any left when I pop past the store - if not, then I'll get one when they're available everywhere.

Honestly, the fact stores have got them before pre-orders, combined with the reports of apps crashing, camera probs, etc, etc, has really put a downer on my excitement.
 
I ordered mine (32G) within minutes of the Apple online store coming up on Sept 1, paid for overnight, it shipped from China on Sunday, left Alaska on Tuesday and was on my doorstep on Wednesday (one day ahead of their estimated date of delivery).

I'm going to guess you are not in the UK....

Cannot edit the engraving now so it looks like it is progressing - still not shipped but expect that to change quickly now. Hopefully shipping will be quick but it's not going to get here before the weekend by the look of things.

Finally my 64GB hit prepared for shipment status...I paid for overnight as well, so hopefully I get it tomorrow before the weekend.

Yuck, man, I know where you're coming from.

The Apple store in Crabtree Valley Mall is always, ALWAYS jammed packed, and that's without a new product launch. I wouldn't dare get near that place with new products on shelves. Jesus Christ.

I would do this, but the nearest Apple store is hours away and I'm simply not in a rush. ;)

32GB iPod touch.

My status has changed to "Prepared for shipment", but it's been like that for two days.
 
i guess its the second wave of ipod touches now!mines changed to prepared for shipment and has been like that for a few hours but hopefully when i wake up in the morning ready for school ill have a lovely email from apple saying your ipod is on its way!!

Hah, don't get your hopes up.

I got real excited when mine got to "Prepared for shipment".

It's been stuck on that for two days now. :(
 
It sucks that mexican apple store doesnt have overnight shipping, they just have the normal shipping :mad:, but like many of you guys, I am checking like every 10 minutes my order status haha:p
 
64 gig, ordered a couple hours after media event.

It was scheduled to arrive on Friday.

Signed for and delivered 12:47pm SF Bay Area time today, 1 day early.

I even watched the flight aware path last night from Anchorage to Oakland in hopes that my iPod was on it ;)

well, mine 32gb just got shipped...
as feared, they really ship the ipods from amsterdam with TNT, which is about the slowest "express" service out there. so not expecting the ipod before tuesday or wednesday next week (earliest!).... damn TNT.
 
wow waiting really does suck....

EDIT: My order has now become available to edit again.. wtf!
 
Well I just picked up a 32g at Best Buy. 18 months no interest but the real cool part is they have done away with the restocking fees (in Texas at least). I'll fool around with the 32 and exchange it for a 64 when they show up if I really need the extra space. You have 30 days to decide.

Best Buy is actually trying harder these days, so I don't mind giving them some business over the Apple Store.

Well, one step forward - I'm "prepared for shipment" now - if it ships by tomorrow it should arrive Monday, I'm betting.

I guess the 64GBs were delayed a bit?
