Remember the SNES clear remotes?
I do although I didn't have an SNES. I think that was the last time a gaming controler was managable and not overly complicated with buttons and joy sticks. That and the Genesis 6 button controller.

I think I still have an NES system in an attic somewhere. A while back I found most of, if not all, the ROMs that I have games. It's not the same feeling without a tube TV though. 😢

Try the promo code TRYEAR2 for a $50 discount. Excited to try these out for $99.

“Nothing really matters, to meee”

I have the first Gen of these and they fit my ears better than the original AirPods Pro and I felt they sounded just as good. I also think they look cool compared to AirPods which to me look a bit dated now (not that looks matter a great deal). Not tried the second Gen AirPod pros or this second Gen either but when my first gens did it won’t be a direct swap to AirPods for me, will definitely see what’s out there.

Wait, it does? I don't think I understand. Find My also works with APP1, but how does APP2 differ and how is it like AirTags? I'm sure I'm missing something, if you'd care to explain :)
While APP 1 do work with Find My, it is a rudimentary implementation where little data on the device’s location can be ascertained. On APP 2 you get a full fat AirTags experience. I have included a visual:

I see. So it offers the feature of directional precision. Thanks for the video!

I bought the NE1 mostly as I wanted an everyday use decent pair that worked well with all my devices, something my AP Pro sadly did not. I use my AP Pro just on Apple devices about 50%+ of the time. For all else it is NE1 unless I am in serious listening mode then it is B&O.

I just ordered a set of NE2.

It's amazing how overpriced these all are, and I've purchased plenty of the expensive ones. I needed a replacement set for some bluetooth earbuds that only are used on a single TV set we have in front of our treadmill at home. I spent $14 on a pair off of Amazon and they sound and function just as good as any of these headsets, although they are missing a few things such as ANC and the higher end sound options. But I was seriously impressed with just how good the cheapie buds have gotten, seriously $14 freakin dollars.

Been playing around with the Ear2 tonight.
Better than AP Pro on my 13 ProMax (don’t have Pro 2) for music but the not as good for a call.
On my S23 Ultra they do really good for both music and calls.

Compared to the Ear1, the Ear2 have better noise cancelation. Not major but noticeable. They are better for music in all areas but most noticeable in mids and bass.

The fast pair and switch work great. Listening on my Thinkpad (yes they work there) and got a call on my S23U. They witched to the S23U and when I hung up they picked right back on the Thinkpad.

Will be using them over the weekend to see what else shows up.

That didn’t seem to work for me. :(
Same here, if you're Black dot member you also get $50. I have the Ear 1 and it works pretty good, some bugs with disconnecting from Bluetooth. It's my preferred earbuds since my AirPods Pro battery is dying.

Agree. I personally never replaced my OG AirPods because the $14 earbuds sound fine, aren’t obvious when in video calls, and don’t try to “intelligently” switch between devices.

Got these yesterday. So far, I really like the sound. Very subjective, but feels "right" to me audio-wise. The "More Bass" setting works especially well for me outdoors. The only thing I really miss is spoken text notifications and phone identifications.

Mine just got an update to 1.0.1.88.
So much easier to update the Airpods.
Got a notification - went into Nothing X app, opened NE2 case, verified connection to NE2, opened Settings > selected Firmware Update. Waited till it was done - a couple of minutes.

Apple should look at and mimic it.

Does anyone else have a problem with their iPhone sound after using these? After listening through these for a while, I find my text and ringtone don't work aloud until I select the tones again in Settings.

Use mine occasionally with my 13 ProMax and iPad Pro 11.
I haven't noticed any issue after using them.
