now just have to figure out how to make "Messages" have the bitesms logo and say BiteSMS

Ahh...this looks like a fun project to make LockInfo look like the iOS5 notifications.

I need to download it 2nite.

thats the one, i wish i knew what weather plugin he is using (figured it our its lockweather and you have to have theme background set to ON to give it that boarder look)

anyone know how he has the messages plugin to have the bitesms icon?

Where is that option for theme background set to ON? I cant find it. In which settings is it?

I cant get the border look of the time widget. I have lockweather.

Maybe I have a lockinfo old version? Or a Lock Weather old version? Which do you have? My lockinfo is 3.0.5.5 and lockweather is 1.3.7.2.

Are these the latest?

wth....the macthemes site says it's not accepting new registrations.

looks like you have to be registered to download. can someone email the zip contents to kdvw2608@gmail.com?

thanks.

Its very strange... I cant install lock weather plugin 1.4.0.7. When I click install it looks like its done and it asks me to respring, but then I go to the profile and it still tells me to install it... and it doesnt appear on install tweaks.

Any ideas?

try to delete it off your phone than do a clean install

Yeah. I tried that several times without luck. Ill have to wait to iOS 5 to have the widget look of weather and stuff.

PS: Ok ok I got it! Thank God.

Well as posted below it is possible to get LockInfo to look like Notification Center and the features people think are missing from LockInfo are usually because they haven't set it up right.

Being seemingly more in the know than most people replying here I know it would be a lot easier to get LockInfo to look & behave like Notification Center than it would be to port an app from iOS 5 to iOS 4 especially when the source is not available so instead of insisting on such a port why don't you do something proactive and list what you can't get LockInfo to do that Notification Center does and then we can assist with that?
-Drag and click notification icon on lockscreen to open directly to app
-Click notification in infoshade to jump to app
-More widgets/plugins options

It is possible I've missed some of these in the settings, so gladly correct me if I have.

This theme mentioned above is awesome though. Even without the features above, the look and feel will definitely hold me over till iOS 5.

im not sure what you mean?

when i click on notifications it opens the app from lockscreen or info shade, and there are more plugins and widgets currently for infolock then an unreleased iOS

I'm in infoshade. I click on the calendar event that i have set to pop up as a Notification. It doesn't go to the Calendar app.

I'm in infoshade. I click on the SMS that shows up. It doesn't go to my SMS app.

I click on an event under Calendar. It flips over to show more details, but doesn't go to the Calendar app so I can't modify it if I need to.

Same goes for lockscreen. I can not launch directly to any app (Calendar, SMS, Mail) by simply tapping on an item listed under these.

Perhaps I don't have the proper repos added in Cydia, but I only see a small amount of plugins/widgets for LockInfo. I'd like a simple music player plugin, maybe a task manager like they have for Notification Center already so I could use double-click Home button for that and LockInfo. Something similar to UISettings so I could use LockInfo in place of SBSettings as well.

really? i have no problems taping a notification to launch that app, maybe i have a super iphone

Found an option for SMS and one for Notifications to Tap to Open. Only option missing is Calendar. I can live with that.

So to summarize, I'm pretty happy with tweaking the hell out of LockInfo. BUT... Notification Center is still just a little more polished. But I can deal.

The issue

Look a copy paste could work. I'll get started on it. But we already copied in multitasking gestures. I use them constantly with no error. On iOS 4.3.3. From iOS 5. I'll get to putting notification center in Cydia. :)

How much trouble would a developer get for essentially copying everything about the Notification Center and implementing it in iOS 4.x? Like, an exact replica?

After using it for a few days, it hurts to try and use anything else.

Actually, this is very hard to do, as developers would NEED access to the source code, which is unavailable. I think iPods nowadays use arch v7 fir the main part of the system (don't quote me :p). And older iPods use arch v6, which means an entirely different system! It would require developers to take the code, strip it down to the bare info, and entirely REmake it! It is a lot harder than it seems -.-;
