iPhone Notifications in iOS 13

Hi. Is anyone having email, iMessage notification issues with iOS 13? When my iPhone is locked, and I get email, I don't get any alert or banners. When I open the Mail app, I don't even get a sound when I have a new message. And when I am on the home screen, the badge icon doesn't update. However, it does show up in Notification Center. Also, on my Apple Watch, I don't get any haptic feedback when I get an email message. It used to be that I would get an alert and banner when my phone was locked under iOS 12. Same thing with iMessage- except on the watch I do get the haptic feedback. I just don't get any alert or banner when my iPhone is locked. Does anyone know if this is fixed with 13.1?

I have tried turning notifications on/off, restarting iPhone and nothing changes. I just got the iPhone Pro Max and did a restore from iTunes. Would a reset all settings help?

I am noticing the same behavior. About to try a reset to the settings, and if all else fails wipe and reinstall. Worked fine on my XS with iOS 13.1 B4.

Notifications for Mail and Messages actually worked fairly well for me on 13.0. They're a total mess with 13.1. There's another thread here on that that's been running for several days:

so since updating to ios 13 i am noticing that email notifications are no longer showing up on my locked screen, nor do they show up at the top when i'm using my phone. anyone else having this issue?

If you click on the title line at the top it should be a live link. The new forum software makes links visually less obvious now.

Notifications are still a mess on 13.1. Now I’m not getting some on my Apple Watch but they appear on the phone. Some apps work fine but some don’t. Apple wallet purchase alert notifications are slow. Payment notifications don’t show up at all. iOS 13 is approaching “not worth the bugs” territory.

update to that: payment notification for Apple Card through Apple wallet showed on my watch but not on my iPhone.

I am facing similar issue.

I don't get any alert (sound) from any push notifications (particularly with mails) when the phone is locked.

on iOS 13.1.2. DND is turned off. phone is not silent, and volume is up.

Has it been fixed yet?
