notifications: they got rid of the popup window

I was shocked today to discover they got rid of the option of being alerted by notifications with a popup window in the center of the screen.

They are the same as banners, but don't automatically go away. Important stuff for people with a disability has to stay on screen longer (not auto hide) so in the past they were in the middle. now they are in the top, where you can't one handed reach them, etc. You have to double touch the home to pull screen down to access those now. F* rediculous.

I see. Do they still block out the rest of the screen essentially so that you have to acknowledge them first before you can continue?

To be fair, considering how many accessibility options that Apple provides and adds and improves it seems like they care about accessibility. That doesn't mean that they are perfect or that they can't have oversights of something somewhere or some issues somewhere at times.
 
I can't blame Apple for accessibility features because in my experience, Apple is one of the best in that case.

I have vision problems, and no android phones have better accessibility features like iOS. Its easy to make shortcuts for zooming, invert colors, voice over etc.

Same thing on OSX, I heard Windows 10 have better accessibility features now, but in the past, they were not even close for accessibility convenience.

This is why I prefer Apple product in general, because they care for accessibility features better than most enterprises.
