Exact same issue here, I emailed the developer at the above mentioned email and am waiting on a reply. I do realize that of course this can not be all solved by the notified developer, I would like to involve bitesms guys into this and see if we can resolve this issue.

I'm sure bite will fix it their really good at fixing problems in a timely mannner however the main developer of bite is away this week so well prob have to wait till next week for a fix. But I think the notification redirection is curious I bet there's a way to fix it there.
