Apple store says natural titanium 45mm has shipped with tracking info, UPS expects delivery on November 1st

My 45mm SB Ti is on the way! I have a tracking number and a delivery date of Nov 1. Yay!

UPS says delivery by 10/28, but the watch is still awaiting customs clearance in China. UPS may be good, but I’m betting on them not making delivery in three days, even if the shipment is released from customs today. We’ll see.

EDIT...shipment is moving. It's moved from Jiaxing to Shanghai, which, I'm assuming is the international departure point for UPS flights to the US. From Shanghai they sometimes go to Incheon, S. Korea to refuel, then on to Anchorage, AK, then their US hub in Louisville, KY, and finally to the regional distribution centers for final delivery. So it looks like they will at least make the Nov. 1 date, if not earlier.

Question for those of us in this boat. If/when WatchOS 8.1 gets released today do we upgrade our current watches or wait for the new watch to come? I am worried that the versions won't be the same when trying to restore a backup to the new watch. Thoughts or experiences?

Same, Back to SB Ti for S7. I ordered about 30 mins after the launch of pre-orders and was in the Nov 2-9 camp. Seeing movement on my shipping, says due Nov 1st but fingers crossed for sooner.

I have a feeling that ours (that shipped out today) will come with 8.1.

Mine last update from UPS was yesterday and it was an arrival in Shanghai. Hoping it leaves for the U.S. today.

Got an update this morning that my watch is in Osaka, JP. The only flight that is listed for UPS from Shanghai (Pudong) that arrived in Osaka (Kansai) that aligns with the scan times for departure from Shanghai and arrival at Osaka is UPS flight 105, which is now in the air from Osaka to Anchorage, AK. UPS says to check back tomorrow for an updated delivery date, but the summary now projects a delivery date of tomorrow. I'm hoping that my watch is still on UPS 105 on it's way to Anchorage, but I have no scan data listed in my tracking history to confirm that. I guess the next update will shed more light on the journey. If all the stars align, I guess I might get delivery tomorrow, but we'll see.

UPDATE, I just got a departure scan from Osaka...looks as though my watch may very well be on UPS 105 headed for Anchorage. After Anchorage, UPS 105 is scheduled on to Louisville, KY as the final stop. And just got an e-mail from UPS that my delivery is set for tomorrow. So it looks like Anchorage this afternoon, Louisville tonight, then to my local UPS facility for delivery tomorrow. Arrival scan in Anchorage, leaving for Louisville in an hour. Three days from China to the U.S. Not bad. Clearly, I have altogether too much time on my hands to be tracking it this closely.

My 45mm Space Black Titanium has been stuck in Shanghai since 10/25 at 9:17 PM. This is the UPS shipment status for 10/27 at 1:13 AM: “Your package is in transit. We're updating plans to schedule your delivery. / The package will be forwarded to a UPS facility in the destination city.”

Same for me. Also 45mm SBTi.

My watch is at my local facility, should be on the truck for delivery today! So really only 19 days post order and 12 after launch day. Given how borked world supply chains are ATM, I’ll take it.

Mine's here! Arrived at 6:48PM Central US Daylight Time. 45mm SB Ti. Hopefully the rest of 'em will start moving again shortly. I sincerely hope that the watches not moving are not caught up in this.
