There used to be an option when uploading a photo for display from your photo library to a forum post, to pick a size. That seems to have gone away or is it still there?

And is it me or are photo attachments when thumbnail is picked, are larger than they used to be? Not asking for a change, just verifying.

It’s harder to do on mobile but if you tap on the image after you insert it, you can resize it using the corners.

On bbcode you can set “width” manually if you want too.

Is this manipulating the image from the attachment box? Are there sizes displayed or a visual approximation? I’ll experiment.

Ok I see, it’s by tapping on the attachment while in edit mode and selecting the cross double arrows icon, and it appears that if you change width or height, and leave the other value as auto or blank, it changes proportionally. If you put in a value for each you can skew the photo out of proportions which is not normally what you’d want. Thanks! :)

Did this functionality recently change? I know there was a spot where I could just enter in the size, but it seems to have gone missing. I’m pretty sure it was exactly what’s stated in Huntn’s last post, but the toolbar under the image seen in the screenshot above does not show anymore.

I’m not having any luck resizing by dragging the corners on mobile either, as mentioned in this post. (Don’t think that ever worked for me.)

So currently (in Safari on iPad), I have to switch to BBCODE and add the width in manually. Not a big deal, but I have to think a bit of what the syntax should be.

Figured I’d ask in case something unintentionally broke with the toolbar that used to show up under the image.
