November 30th 27" Orders - Still Processing

Same here, ordered on November, 30th, 10 am CET, still processing.
Paid via bank transfer not credit card, so estimated delivery was January 3rd -9th from the start.
Reading the posts above with changing delivery time to just January I'm getting nervous...:rolleyes:
Waiting since February so I think Apple wants to let me wait a full year....;)
 
Another day comes and goes and it's "Processing items" still! 22 days and going strong, at what point should I contact Guinness? :rolleyes:
 
Finally!! Status changed to "Prepare for shipment" :)

Update: shipped!

From everything I read, it certainly seems like people who ordered 3TB fusions are suffering. I'm still processing 15 days now... I ordered 1TB fusion, I am seriously considering cancelling and getting a maxed out rMPB as I will get that next week.

nope, 1 TB fusion drive here and suffering as well ;)

It just doesn't make sense... Have you ordered anything else? Mine still says 4th - 10th. But I have noticed that some people who ordered before me are now unspecified jan...

If stuff was processed in order it would not be so bad... But it's clearly not

I don't think there is a pattern based on options. My friend ordered the exact same iMac two days after me, his delivery is confirmed for today. Mine will be delivered Jan 2 (tbc).
 
I would like to know if there is anybody who has paid by wired transfer had their order changed from processing to prepare for shipment?
I think almost everybody who is still in processing from ordering on 30/11 has paid with wired transfer.

I know the fact that they allready have our money, mine was withdrawn from my account on 30 nov, is not the reason we are still waiting but it sure feels that way!!

Payed with wire transfer 30 nov, confirmation of payment 3 dec and still processing... I think they take the creditcard orders first.
 
They will not consider the order as live until they have a. an authorised CC or b. the cash in their hands from a bank transfer

so your order was in fact on the 3 rd not the 30 /11 when you places the order
others the did it the CC route the order is live the day you place it and the bank sends the auth code

yes I used to work for a bank many years ago

This sucks. But why does my order status say ordered at 30 nov?
 
thats when you placed it not when Apple put it on their system as a live order.

the thing confuses people is that the CC auth is done electronically at the time you pressed the order button Apple the has a hold on your cash , but a bank transfer or finance order takes time to process hence the delay.

it not the same as going into a shop ( bricks and mortar ) with a wad of notes , it more like sorry sir we need to clear your cheque be for they will release the goods.

as an example when I bought my BMW they did not want a cheque/wire transfer but a debt card ( Visa ) so the money was transferred instantly to their acct £ 24 k on a debit card made it sweat a bit , yes my bank did ring up to do a security check ,

No, I ordered 27'' i7, 1 TB Fusion Drive, 680mx, trackpad, quite normal I presume. But as I said, because of credit card limit I had to pay via bank transfer, so I got 3 - 9 january, instead of late December.
Well, Apple's got my money already, so they can keep me on their waiting list. ;)
 
wow I feel sorry for some of you. I bought mine around noon on the 30th , Mine is not too far away I wouldnt be suprised to see it today or Monday ! I was scheduled for Jan 3rd -8th looks like im getting an early christmas present !
 
Finally some signs of life

My Credit Card got billed at 1:17 AM PST (thank you fraud alerts) but the Apple site has not updated yet. Hoping to see the status change in the Apple store soon

Ordered 11/30 @2:00PM PST

Mine.still shows a 24th~28th est. Delivery time. But still processing... Its already dec.22... Ordered at 6pm 30th Nov South Korea.time.
update.....
I.just noticed that my cancel button has dissapeared i hope.it means something good is going to happen soon..

I almost can't believe it, but mine is PREPARING FOR SHIPMENT! Saw it when I woke up. Yesyesyesss!!!:D

Ordered nov. 30, delivery date 2-7 jan.
