hey guys/gals...how do I post my desktop?
I know I phail.

I just select it to measure it in percent, then take it to 50% rather than 100%. Then upload it to a photo server such as Photobucket, and copy/paste the link that starts with

Desktop & First Post

OK, this is my 1st post here, so I hope this works. I've enjoyed looking at everyone's desktops. As a recent PC convert (to a MBP), I like seeing these as I can learn about different ways that I can set things up, programs people are using, etc.

That's all I did. I have the HUD theme so it looks different, but even before that, the opacity is all you have to adjust for it to go solid or clear. The only thing I can think of, is to uninstall/re-install Adium.

As you can see, I now have it set to 0% opacity, and it is invisible.

I also have an issue with Adium. I understand how to change the opacity of the contacts list. But what I take issue with is the gray bar at the top that includes the "close", "minimize", and "maximize" options...how to i get rid of that like you did?

-Thanks

What is it about posting a link to the original NON CLUTTERED image that people don't get?

That's the entire point of these threads.

Someone should put that in the thread guidelines
