I really need to learn more about geektool. I'm new to macs so i'm still learning. This place can teach u a lot. So the weather and temp is also done with geektool? Cause it looks fresh!!:eek:

Come on people please put the original wallpaper along with the desktop pic so there will be no "can I have the wallpaper?" posts cluttering the thread.

That is a debate every time. The first post on the thread has those instructions but few people read the first page, most just post their image because they want to share their desktop. Some do post either a link to the original or upload the image themselves if they don't remember where the image came from or it had some work done. Others just ask that if you want their image you PM them or post about it. A few just don't post the image and have no interest in sharing it because it's an original work or they don't have permission to share it, or they simply don't want to.

There was a discussion on a different section of the forums, a lengthy one, about the situation and some even went as far as asking for post removals and other types of action by the moderators. I don't remember exactly what, or if any, decision was made, but it seems like the current system, not perfect by any means, is here to stay.

Thank u! I just recently started messing around with my Mac. I'm really trying to learn as much as possible like the temp thingy with the forecast thingy that every1 has on left corner. I'm still reading the geektool thread but that ish is mad long. Anyway here is another wall. A friend of mines gave me this and I think is fresh!

To be honest with you I got the set up from a dude name Kubull.com He has a utube vid on how to use candy bar and I really liked the set of icons he was using and i shot him an email. He was kind enough to send it to me. He psted them up on his website.

Nice Windows Vista desktop.
I know it's not Win 7 coz I have one and it's not the same as this one at all.
Just look at the taskbar, lol!
