Very interesting.
I am debating between silver and gold when I get my iPhone 6.
It's nice to see people's opinions a whole (almost a whole) year later.
:D

I wanted the Gold, but the waitlist was too long; I bought the Space Grey and Silver ones. I'd probably try to get the Gold one this year.

Bought a gold on launch and I like it but I don't care for the white face so I will be going back to space grey/black on the 6

im rockin the gold/champagne.. I love it but I think it's time for a black face. wish they make black face and gold back.

This. No more white face for me. I have a gold 5s and a black 5. The white bezels are annoying - black just gets out of the visual field somehow for everyday use.

I got gold. At the time, I wasn't keen on the Silver and don't like the Space Grey so it was an easy choice. Silver has grown on me since though so the choice would be harder next time.

Indeed it should be interesting to see if gold is as hot this year, since it's not the new kid on the block anymore as it was last year.

Part of my reason for declining the gold was that it looks really putrid in the wrong lighting (like when it looks ugly brown). Yet it really is gorgeous when its a glistening hue of gold (such as in sunny daylight).

I was really on the fence at launch, but for me it is best that I stuck with my first instinct of silver.

And as an aside: I came from having all black on previous iPhones, and enjoying that the black screen on black bezel made the screen feel more organic and larger. But I wanted change, and am highly satisfied with the white bezel, and probably will get another silver/white next year when I'm due for upgrade.

I'm happy that I returned the Gold 5S for the Silver one before the end of the 14 day return period. I love my White/Silver 5S and will more that likely go with the iPhone 6 in this color as well.
