I've been using Google Chrome, but we'll see how long it lasts. I'm really enjoying it so far.

Using both for now. Safari does everything I want, but since I mostly have 2 to 3 tabs open, Chrome's slide to switch tabs might prove convenient. I don't notice much of a speed difference, and I don't seem to be opening many links from other apps, so I really don't care about it being the default browser or not. If only there was a simple way to get my bookmarks over.

I've made it my default but links saved to home screen still open safari.

Jailbreak is your friend. ;) Unfortunately if you want Chrome as your default browser you need to jailbreak. If you want Chrome that bad it is worth jail breaking for that reason.

Mine is Jailbroken and I used the mod in Cydia to make Chrome the default and like I said, Links that I saved to my home screen still open in Safari. There is no getting around that.

I'm good with Safari. I'll get tabbed browsing when iOS 6 is distributed & I prefer to sync everything on the same platform (iCloud) including my bookmarks.

But to each their own. On the mobile platform it's just an alternative UI on top of Safari anyways.

Oh really..didn't catch that. That stinks.

I use Google Chrome Canary on Mac OSX because it has the latest cutting edge features and performance improvements, making it much slicker than Safari IMO. But since the iOS Chrome is just a reskinned version of Safari... Meh.

Deleted it. Chrome's pretty cool, but in the end, the only thing it has on Safari is that you can flick between tabs from the screen edges. Chrome's tab view is more of a mess than Safari's, and since I've got gridtab for safari installed, it takes me two taps to get to any tab. Controls, bookmarks, and tabs buttons at the bottom in Safari seals the deal.

I use Chrome on my iPad. And I go back and forth with Safari and Chrome on my iPhone. If I were jailbroken (iPhone), then I would use Chrome as my default browser. I also use Chrome on my Nexus.

In my opinion more people are willing to try out Chrome because of the recognition and publicity, but there has already been alternative browsers out there which I think are better than Chrome. The download speeds of each browsers are close enough to me, so the more important thing for me are the features they have.

My two favorite alternative browsers are Atomic and Dolphin browsers. Of course, everyone has their own preferences but I think those two browsers are better than Chrome. Chrome does have some good points about it, but in my opinion it's not enough for me to switch from my other browsers. I've already found alternatives to Safari.

Using Chrome out to try and see how it works. So far, it's fine.

I've no problems with Safari though, so I will use it if necessary.

I always give browsers a quick run though.

Giving it a go and made it my default browser via jailbreak. So far I'm enjoying it a lot.

I have. I like it much more than Safari. MUCH more, I like the folder system for switching between sites. And it's simply a better looking application.

I'm still deciding if I prefere to Safari. Two things that are vexing me;

1. How do you print a page from it?

2. Where is the history? I can check which tabs I have open on my desktop, which is a great feature, but I can't see the sites I've just been using!?

2. I believe on ios you just open a new tab. On the bottom there is 6 blocks in a rectangle, click that if not already selected. Should be previews of pages you visited. I think that's how it works anyway.

Have replaced Safari with Chrome on my dock but as Safari is still the default still finding I have to use both.

Think I prefer Chrome but will check out the updated Safari on iOS6 and then decide. Hopefully Apple will allow you to specify a default browser, but won't be holding my breath :D

I'm fine with Safari; no need to change that. I tried some others but until now Safari gave me the best experience. Of course because it's more direct integrated into iOS.

I LOVE Chrome on mobile. It's a little faster, which is fine, whatever, but the biggest deal is the wonderbar. I was constantly typing stuff in the wrong bar or changing my mind and forgetting it's not a wonder bar in Safari. Chrome is so far superior to Safari, if only for that one reason. The tab system is also a lot slicker than Safari's, and I think it can sync bookmarks (haven't actually checked if they're there), which is a big plus too. It's nice to have one browser across all platforms (well except for work where they make us use IE.

Chime is my browser of choice now. I like the swiping to go to different tabs, swiping to get rid of tabs, and seems faster.
