How long do you all think it will be till it shows shipping and we loose the 4/24-5/8 range with a more exact date? Are we to assume if we were charged today and we are in the new status we are looking at launch day? I ordered at 3:02am eastern
 
Oh good, I was hoping someone would create a new topic for this specific question instead of just asking it one of the myriad shipping threads.

I am assuming given what Angela said in her email about deliveries beginning Friday, that anyone who has entered the preparing for shipment status is likely going to see there watch this Friday.

It's either that or its wishful thinking for me (preparing for shipment on my 42MM Milanese Loop SS Watch :))

I have a 12:02 confirmation email and still in the "processing" stage.
 
You'll never lose the date range. It'll ship on Thursday from a local UPS hub and arrive to your door by Friday.

Don't go mental between now and Thursday night wondering what's going on with your watch

I'm sure they will ship out tomorrow there's still other batches of Apple Watches that are being prepped, (i.e. SS 42MM BSB and such)

I agree. That is what my 6+ did. Shipped from Southern Cal to Southern Oregon Early Friday morning, landed in my hometown at about (did follow the short flight with flight aware) 7:45 A.M. Out for delivery at 7:48 A.M. The truck was at the airport at the ready. I had it held at UPS, but I don't think it sorted any further at the local hub even if it was headed to your doorstep. Logistics Baby!
 
Another question: How and when can you request to have it held at hub so you can pick it up the morning it was scheduled for delivery from the hub (instead of waiting around all day)?

How do you have it held at ups?
 
You should be able to call UPS or FED EX once you have a tracking number and request it to be held once it arrives at the facility near you.

I think that combo is going to be a much tighter supply, I was really impressed with the loop band when I went 2 weeks ago to try on the watch. That will be my first band purchase I am sure :)
