NUDE L speaker bluetooth won't connect to macbook pro

Hello! I got a NUDE L bluetooth speaker for Xmas and it works fine with my iPad and iPhone but is not discoverable by my Macbook Pro. So annoying Any ideas on how to fix this is much appreciated. Thank you.

• Update to latest OS.
• Restart Mac with 'reopen windows when logging back in' disabled.
• Enable Bluetooth.
  
• Reset PRAM (hold Cmd, Alt, P, R on startup until you hear the Apple 'boot chime' 3 times, then let go).

Also, are other Bluetooth devices discoverable on your MBP?
