I was reading a little on GPUs and heat and it seems that NVidia has hotter running GPU then AMD and the future ones Kepler will be running at 225 watts. they are talking 4 fan configs and all kinds of crazy cooling needed. Even power supplies are being pushed well over 1000 watts with these.

with nvidia pushing GPU with such a strong heat issue i dont see any way in hell that apple is going to want to cram a nvidia gpu into one of their systems.

- Drivers ( my 330m is alot faster now than in 2010, it runs Crysis 1 on high with the new drivers )

With my experience of AMD/ATI cards, I didn't saw such big upgrade in performance with new drivers. But maybe that's just me.
 
We won't be able to judge these until performance numbers come in. Its performance per watt that really matters or in GPU terms FPS per watt.
