Prep the teleprompter! Obama will be addressing this issue immediately following Apple's conference. The early rumors indicate he's going to blame the reception issues on Bush.
Yes, he is going to wait and see what Apple says tomorrow and he is set to release a statement either himself or through Press Secretary Gibbs at 3:00pm EST.

I don't expect much from the Obama announcement since the teleprompter has been replaced with an iPadaprompter... any message that it delivers has to be approved by Steve Jobs.
