Oct. 1 to 6 2014 Delivery Date Orders (Update) Delivered earlier!

I work for Ups and this is how most local centers work. All of the Air deliveries for Monday actually get shipped to the building on Saturday. Tomorrow when I go into work all of the Monday Air packages are straight off the plane. We unload the Semi and sort all the Saturdays from the Mondays. If any iPhones come off that trailer for Monday we are upgrading and delivering tomorrow.

I am a Saturday driver and I have to deliver all the phones that didn't get delivered today. In the morning a full semi truck comes from the airport with nothing but next day air and expedited shipments. All iPhones were told to be scanned and put out for delivery. No I'm not a troll and I'm speaking the truth.

Has anyone that received the case in advance of the phone been able to pull a new tracking number from the reference field... all I can get is the already delivered case.

Still in "preparing to shipment" state... despite changing to that about the same time as the ones getting theirs early next week... and have already been charged for the tax on the phone. (ATT Next 68 + grey)

Is this an AT&T phone? There are many of us with this exact configuration that have seen no movement. I think this particular model has a higher demand. My silver version of this configuration has already shipped for an early delivery date.

I like hearing other people's good news but is anyone in the same boat as me?

I ordered a black iPhone 6 Plus, 64 GB, AT&T at 1:15AM PDT (or 7AM? see below...) using the Apple Store app.

My status is still Processing Items! Argh

Detailed ordering steps:
I started trying at 12:00am PDT using the Apple Store app.
Here and there I would get through but it showed "This product is unavailable"
At 1:15AM I was able to order it with a "Ships in 7-10 days"
BUT I got a "we can't contact AT&T but we have a reserved iPhone for you. blah blah blah" message.
At 7:00AM I got an email from Apple saying I could now order the phone.
When I logged in all iPhone 6 plus models were showing ships in 3-4 weeks but mine was still showing 7-10 days.

Did I really get a reserved spot at 1:15AM or did it push me back to 7AM???

It's just frustrating to see a bunch of orders placed after me getting delivery notices for Monday when mine hasn't moved at all...

I am close to West Palm Beach. I am down the road from you. I am telling you that this is the truth. If you phone hits Kentucky tonight and get sorted then it will fly out in the morning to your closest hub and put on truck for delivery. If your tracking doesn't make it to the World Hub then Monday is more like it,

About how long after y'all received the 'preparing for shipment' status did it change to shipped? When did it become available on UPS (or FedEx)?

I've been checking all three - Apple Store Order Status, UPS track by reference, and FedEx track by reference - still nothing. My phone order changed to 'preparing for shipment' about 11:00PM CST last night.

Patience is a virtue, or something like that... lol :/

Okay cool. I use to work for UPS Freight btw. Did it for 2 years working outbound part time. Couldn't take working 2 jobs 5 days in a row anymore lol. They move freight quickly. Thanks for the info, I'll keep checking the tracking for sure.

I'm so sorry to those of you still processing. I remember having to stare at that ****ing word for a month last year. It sucks.

At least know that when it changes to Preparing for Shipping you'll have your tracking number and will have seen some movement is already taking place by about 24 hours.

I suggest checking your tracking number early in the morning. Most drivers leave the building at 8:30. Please don't be disappointed if you don't get your phone. I can guarantee that some of us will though.
