Oct. 1 to 6 2014 Delivery Date Orders (Update) Delivered earlier!

My wife is in the same boat; she really wants a purple Otterbox or something similar and they're just not out in multiple color options yet. We're going to get her something that can tide her over for now, and then keep looking for a purple one for her.
 
Has anyone in our group gone from "processing" to "preparing for shipment" during the daytime (Friday)? I see many that woke up this morning to find the change. I am curious if a 2nd round was processed after last night's late round of shipments.

I went to best buy today and held the plus, It's going to suck when i'm wearing tight jeans lol.

Yea, Sucks to wait for better cases to come out. At least for the plus the goal will be thinner and to make it easier to get it in and out of your pocket lol.

Haha, I thought "D*mn if I sit down wrong with this in my pocket, I fear it might snap in half like a candy bar." I'll just be super careful with it, I KNOW it will be in my pocket..hard not to notice. So i'll adjust or remove it before sitting down.

Me too. It's frustrating. I'm not expecting to see any change until next week at this point . I have a feeling we won't be seeing our phones till October

lol, It's going to take some getting use to that's for sure. I'm glad I never put it in my back pocket.

Yes, it is an arrival scan at the UPS facility in Zhengzhou after it departed from Foxconn. The next departure scan after that 7:10 PM arrival time will give us a good indication for arrival into the U.S.

And here's more confusion. I am in San Fernando Valley and I have expedited also. And I ordered at 2:05 AM on the 12th right when the system came up and was working properly after trying for two hours
 
Why does mine just have a location scan in ZhengZhou?

Hope that doesnt mean its just sitting there all day

Mine has that too. Been like that all day. I'm not sure if we'd see movement on Saturday. It's certainly possible, but I don't know how UPS works!

I'm sure we will see some kind of movement late tonight or tomorrow but I was hoping for an outside chance of delivery tomorrow, probably not going to happen haha

You never know! But yeah I'm banking on Monday. My delivery date is 9/25 though. Is yours 9/25 too?
 
If you look at it you have a origin scan then a location scan then a departure. The arrival scan is missing. It should have been between the location and departure. The arrival scan was manually inputted by a user and the system doesn't allow for post dating timestamps so there fore it went with the current time. I have seen this with products I have ordered before and I used to work for fedex and we would sometimes have to manually update scans and this is exactly what would happen. I am pretty sure given the delivery dates there is no chance our devices are still in China but in the air somewhere between the lower 48 and anchorage

In my experience of ordering iPhone since 2007 they are not just sitting there it's just that the scans haven't come through. I've had it look like it hasn't left China and then the next thing I know it's in the US

Sometimes UPS just doesn't update the scans as fast as we would like to see them and then all of a sudden boom all the scans are there and the phone has arrived in the United States

Don't think just because it doesn't have a newer scan that it's just still sitting around in China that's deceiving
 
There should be some kind of update on location tomorrow ups system usually updates between midnight and 4 am est. this is of course just my past experiences talking with Apple and ups.

Don't laugh. I imagine some of the crew around here are going to call Apple to see if they can charter a special flight just for their phone. And ask for a free case ;)

This is good to hear! I'm trying not to get my hopes up for tomorrow though lol.
