Same here. Perhaps this is just the most popular configuration for the 6 Plus. The black front is the original iPhone color and I bet some people don't want to change. 64GB is the most reasonable storage choice unless you have the extra $100 for 128GB. AT&T probably continues to have a decent marketshare of iPhones. This all adds up as a fairly popular choice. I wonder if Apple miscalculated the demand.

Yeah, big miscalculation I'm guessing. I've seen the ATT 16GB and 128GB ship already, the ATT 64's seem to be on an indefinite hold for now. I've seen Apple Stores get a new shipment on Saturdays..so maybe If I'm out and I happen to get lucky and see one - maybe even a 128GB, I do take a lot of video - and I know for a fact ,100% that I can get my ATT eligibility reset in 5-10..heck 45 minutes. I'll cancel this order and buy in store.

Mines a 128 gb and still in China.

I ordered 128 GB iPhone 6+ at approximately 2:30 AM on the 12th. Right now mines shipping. I have a tracking number and it scheduled to deliver on 25 September. The last update was at 7:10 PM in China. It does seem kind of strange that I hasn't updated yet.

Card was just charged for a 6+ 64GB Space Gray, AT&T. 1:31AM EDT.

Edit: Preparing for shipment.

There's a freighter scheduled to depart today from Zhengzhou(CGO) to Ancorage(ANC). It's operated by China Southern Cargo CZ477

:D This might be the flight for those of you with delivery date set as Sept 25.

Nah, I work for UPS and we use our own fleet of aircraft. Since our phones were shipped as WorldEase, they don't actually clear customs until they hit Louisville sometimes as a single gigantic shipment, so that's why your tracking info doesn't update right away leaving China every year then magically the last 2 days of scans show up.

3 UPS flights in a row all from ANC to SDF just landed in the last hour. They should be bringing the planes to the unload area now and getting ready to unload em and sort all those iPhones to planes bound for your town in the next hour or two. Start refreshing that tracking info. :)

The thing is, Apple is such a HUGE account for UPS that we've been bending over backwards to expedite all iPhone shipments and get them out as early as possible. It's just hard to tell whose phone made the cutoff until the next scan populates, but if you ARE going to have your phone upgraded to Saturday shipping, it will show up in tracking in the next 2 hours. Don't get your hopes up too high, because it is the weekend, so they may actually be sitting in China until Sunday night (which would still get them to you on Tuesday instead of Thursday in most circumstances), but there is a possibility that they flew out to Anchorage and are one one of those 4 jets that just landed at our WorldPort air hub in Louisville.

Cool!

Do you think there is any chance us folks on the West coast might see our 9/25 deliveries much sooner?

EDIT: Nvm, just saw your previous post on the last page

It's going to depend on where the "cutoff" is and which plane in the giant shipment your phone ended up on, but expecting it by Tuesday isn't completely impossible. We'll know in a few hours here. If our tracking updates by 6 am then we will get it sooner than later. If it DOESN'T update before then, I would assume that our phones are actually still in China as the tracking says, and to expect Wednesday/Thursday.

If you guys want help passing the time, National Geographic did a special on the Louisville WorldPort air hub that UPS uses to process all of this stuff in no time. The scale will blow your mind.

I have faith. UPS is too good at what they do to take 6 days to deliver my phone from China to California. I'd be very surprised if it's not here by Tuesday. :)
