UPS is actually based out of Atlanta, GA but you're correct that we run on EST.

that whole thing about changing from delivery to pickup and it stating that it would be available tomorrow is bogus. just tried the international ups number and he stated that the container was held by chinese customs and is still in china. i am in the 7:10 group.

I cannot find the article I read on the curved glass side finger scrolling, but did it work well when you tried it on your wife's phone?
Most major companies with overseas locations dealing with air routes will deal in UMT (old GMT, also known as Zulu time in the military). It is an universal time zone that does not change with DST. Handy when countries don't either have it or change at the same time. Pilots use GMT for flight planning quite a bit.

I ordered my 6 Plus on 9-12-14 at 3am through the Apple store app on my phone and they gave me a delivery date of 10-1-14 to 10-6-14.
I was very surprised when I checked the status of my order yesterday and saw it has been shipped and scheduled for delivery by UPS tomorrow, 9-22-14!
Made me very happy.

UPS Tracking info isn't very informative... My tracking says scheduled for Early Delivery on 9/22, Originally Scheduled delivery 9/23. But last scan was Arrival Scan - Shanghai on 9/21 @ 12:45am. No departure scan.
FedEx tracking is so much better....sigh.

Exact same situation you're in. We'll most likely see updates this evening (tomorrow morning for you? Depending where you're at). They're most likely already stateside
Man, I've concluded that UPS tracking sucks.....why even have a detailed tracking link when it is not accurate? They would be better off just saying "En Route" and then "Out for Delivery" on the day it will be delivered.
Shanghai, China 09/22/2014 1:53 P.M. Sender tendered the shipment to UPS after the latest pickup time for the requested service. A day delay is likely.
