Oct. 1 to 6 2014 Delivery Date Orders (Update) Delivered earlier!

Just got a UPS update on my tracking:

Shanghai, China 09/22/2014 1:54 P.M. Sender tendered the shipment to UPS after the latest pickup time for the requested service. A day delay is likely.
 
Got the Delay notice as well. So from a day early, to a day delay, probably means a day late. So I'm betting on Wednesday now unfortunately.

UPS stinks, to put it mildly. Why would they tout that we were getting this thing early while it's still in China? Idjits.

For me at least you're spot on. I'm supposed to receive mine on the 25th, and nothing has changed. (no delay shown)

i was stuck at 12:45 Arrival at Shanghai with a delivery on 9/25

Now it says 1:15 Am Chek Lap Kok, HK and delivery date end of day 9/22!!

and delivery method changed from Expedited to Saver!!

ignore that! my stupid ass was looking at a screen shot of someone else's...

Nope. Check your tracking again. Just got the Delay notice like everyone else it seems, and the phones are still in Shanghai.

One other guy had that same thing earlier...his name is Jose.
 
Latest update, the delivery date of 9/22 delay. Still in Shanghai.

after 3 days later, they are so friggin kind that shared this information to us. THX UPS! I HOPE YOU GUYS GO OUT OF BUSINESS SOON!
 
As a UPS international shipment auditor, this sounds like Apple forgot to include the proper invoices so the shipment could clear customs, but I could be mistaken. When this happens to me I am forced to hold the shipment until the shipper faxes the appropriate documentation.
