Just FYI.. I think I heard or read that if you hold/send to a UPS retail store, it adds a day. The Customer Service center is different - that's where they load the trucks. I think the hold click will tell you where yours is.

Also, I wonder if the shipping issues caused a backlog that resulted in the extended 'preparing for shipment' problems.

I've got the exact same tracking, except I'm in Philadelphia and I've got tomorrow.

I'm on the Inchon flight, as well. Waiting for a 128GB Plus for AT&T to replace a 4s that I bought launch day for that model.

Are all of the Korea phones set for Thursday delivery, or are some up for earlier?

You're pissed? Wasn't your original ship date October 1st - October 6th? If not, then you're in the wrong thread. You have nothing at all to be pissed about. Your phone could sit around until October 1st and still make the delivery date that was originally promised.

Don't follow your logic. If something originally said A, and then updates to say B, I expect B, not H.

On that flight too with 9/25 date.

I am scheduled to arrive on Thursday according to UPS tracking and I just left Korea on UPS99. I am stoked because Apples email said the 29th and I was happy that it was before October 1st.

Your shipment is on its way.
Here are your shipment details and tracking information.

iPhone 6 Plus 128GB Space Gray (GSM)

iPhone ordering adventure:
I stayed up (EST) to start ordering at 3:00 am. I got through on mine at 4:07 am and was given the opportunity for in-store pick up. I went with delivery. I then started trying for my wife's phone (silver 64gb plus). I got through at 4:32 am and received a message that I would receive an email? hmmmmm...... Wasn't sure what that was about but I went to bed feeling confident.
I wake up to an email from Apple stating I was scheduled Oct 1-6 and she was scheduled Friday 9/19. I was like WTF!
All that said and done, I am thrilled to get my phone before the 29th and I have had the opportunity to play with the wife's phone and not even a little disappointed with the size or wait.

Mine says Wednesday. Los Angeles.... Never changed even after the delay in Zhengzhou

9/25 as well.

Hoping a bit for Wednesday, but not holding my breath.

I've got the exact same tracking, except I'm in Philadelphia and I've got tomorrow.

I have a feeling that everyone from this Oct 1-6 group is going to see their phones on Wed/Thurs this week no matter what day it says on the UPS tracking. There's obviously no way anyone will see theirs today, and tomorrow is mostly a pipe dream because none of them will likely leave Alaska today.

My iPhone finally shipped!

ZhengZhou, China: 09/22/2014: 8:40 P.M. Departure Scan

Looking through the thread, I don't think I've seen anyone with the same departure time from this location. Anyone else here sharing my plane? Or was this a train departure to get to the airport?

Mine is also on that plane iPhone 6 Plus 64GB Space Grey ATT

Went to Preparing to ship evening 9/21
Shipped morning 9/22
Currently at ZhengZhou
Delivery Scheduled for Wed 9/24. Apple lists 9/26

iPhone 6+ 64GB Space Grey AT&T ordered from apple.com

Same here - Apple shows Delivery for Friday 9/26, but UPS shows Wednesday 9/24.

My current status is still showing in ZhengZhou. Assuming I'm not on any of the current flights, unless my info just didn't update?! Anybody have any thoughts?

O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!

If they really can get them to Kentucky before 4am local, you never know.

Keep in mind they don't fly the 747 or 777 cargo within the US(typically trans continental). Most likely they go on A300's which are substantially smaller. It will take a few A300 to fill what was in a 747 or 777 for that matter...
