Oct. 1 to 6 2014 Delivery Date Orders (Update) Delivered earlier!

What's the general path we've seen for UPS to deliver to the west coast like the Bay area? Just trying to be ready for tracking flights :D
 
Any ideas where my phone is? This is my latest scan:

ZhengZhou, China 09/22/2014 5:20 P.M. Departure Scan

Which looks to be the same as those that went to Incheon, but I never got an arrival scan there. Is there another plane in the air or is the system just being slow to update?
 
This is strange. Has this happened to anyone else? I seen a departure at 11:33 pm Korea time , now I see another departure of 12:25AM nearly 1 hour later. Was the plane delayed for a hour? Would I still be on that same plane to Alaska located at Here

I agree that moving our dates from Oct 1-6 to this week is a good thing.

The part that annoys me is that they locked our orders on Thursday and aren't delivering for 6-7 days (for some of us). I could have walked into an Apple store this weekend and bought my phone. Once they lock the orders the product should be on our doorsteps in 2-3 business days. /rant /whine

Now here's to hoping we don't get botched phones. My 5 that I preordered in 2012 had a faulty lock button. I took it into the Apple Store and they were like have you taken this apart? I was like NO why would I do that!? And then the guy said he believed I wasn't capable of that anyways (eff you man I'm very handy! But I'd never take apart my phone). He said he asked because the inside was all full of super glue finger prints. Nice. I got a new one that day. And that new one I got put me into the recalled batter group of phones. So my phone isn't wireless. It's constantly plugged in lol as soon as I get the 6+ I'm taking my 5 in and getting a new one since its part of the recall. Two brand new phones! LoL
 
I spoke too soon. My phone has apparently departed South Korea.

I was just in the breakroom at work, and someone pulled out a Plus that he'd walked into the store and bought this weekend.

I'm seeing a lot of 9/24 expected deliveries now but mine only got pushed back to 9/23 and I live in Chicago right next to O'Hare and the UPS hub. Only the Osaka flight going to continue to Chicago. The other two are heading to Louisville.

Same thing though they'll all be delivered tomorrow or latest Wednesday.

You're right. I owe you an apology.

I'm frustrated that I feel like people are seriously overreacting.

People are tracking flights that might not even have your phone on it and complainin.g about apple not getting their phones to them on time when in fact they aren't even close to not meeting their targeted delivery time.

I let my emotions get the better of me!

But did he get the 6Plus he wanted? I got the exact one I wanted. That's what was important to me. I didn't wanna wait in like for 12+ hrs and then get a choice of silver or gold 16gb. No thanks.

UPS would have to be totally inept to not deliver a package until Thursday when it's been in the country since Monday. I don't think Tuesday is possible, but I'm hopeful for Wednesday.

Is there a way to see the flight going from Alaska to Chicago. Last time i checked I did not see its scheduled on the site.

He seemed very happy with it.

I've never waited in line for 12 hours, though I have pre-ordered for in store pickup on launch day and had to wait 2-3 hours. I can't remember if it was for the first iPad or the iPhone 3.

That's my attitude as well. I wanted the 64gb Plus. Didn't really care about the color. It would have been a pain in the ass to try and get one this weekend. Instead, it will just show up on my door this week.

I'm not even really bothered by people who got the phones over the weekend. My phone will get here this week. I'm ok with that.

No idea how, UPS is a 24/7 business. I know some that called and the Apple rep put "Expedited" on the shipment - then told not too. I did read shipments were stuck in ZhengZhou and Alaska for some kind of import check..not sure, I have to go back pages and pages to see what the deal was. Seriously I have no idea.

For me..being so consumed about this order, I totally forgot I have a damn doctors appt at 3pm on Wednesday and can't cancel it or I'll be waiting another 6 weeks for that nonsense. Of all the freggin days..so now I just hope UPS comes before 2:45pm. If I miss it, well the hub is about 17 miles from me..I'll just battle traffic and hopefully I can pick it up before it closes at 7 or 7:30.
