Oct. 1 to 6 2014 Delivery Date Orders (Update) Delivered earlier!

7:10 crowd is moving really good now. Most deliveries will be tomorrow and Wednesday. I've been on the Phone with UPS and Apple so much, they've locked my number using iOS :)

Our plane arrives in less than 4 hour to Alaska, and on to Louisville. From there it will fly straight to your local UPS hub on a different plane.

Nice flying next to your phones. :apple:

That's the part I don't get. Where can we find if it goes to Chicago -> local or Louisville -> local?

You know what I mean, they bring your hopes up and then........nahhh let him suffer, we have until Oct 6 to deliver, so they decided to go to Hawaii for a few days, here is the Flightaware update :(

That's what I got. Still hoping for the best, I can't possibly see what would take so long when the phones are almost in Anchorage as I type. Are you on the West Coast?

You can see in the photo I've uploaded they use the same plane to go onto Louisville. The UPS99 flight always goes from Korea to Alaska to Louisville. And then back to Korea.

So now after Alaska, it will have a 2-3 hour layover and go to Louisville.

I am in the exact same situation. Sorry for you....but glad I am not the only one! maybe we are on the plane but didn't get scanned? One can only hope! This has been a frustating process. I keep telling myself that I am just going to wait and hope for Thursday delivery.....but I just can't help myself!

It's fun when tracking when we are moving but frustrating when everyone is moving but a few of us are stuck!:)
 
MID AFTERNOON UPDATE
3 flights en route to Alaska now

UPS105 Osaka to Alaska:

Upon arrival in Anchorage:
  • 3-3.5 hours to refuel/unload/re-load (based on historical data)
  • Using the same flight number, fly to US hub of Louisville, KY or Chicago/Rockford, IL. This is a 4.5-5.5 hours flight.

Upon arrival at KY/IL hub (est. Midnight - 2am on Tuesday 9/23):
  • Loaded to plane heading to your local airport by 3am-4am-ish??
  • Arrived at local airport in the morning and loaded to truck for delivery!

Note that this timeline is for UPS Worldwide Saver Express. If you are under the "Expedited" batch, I don't think it will go from KY/IL hub to your local airport right away (might take an extra day)

I'm in SoCali. I don't think it'll get here until the proposed 9/25 date. I'll be surprised(and very thankful) if it even got here Wednesday...

UPS's site will give you directions to the hub they will be holding it at. I also just requested a pick up, as a doctor's appointment tomorrow is likely to conflict with delivery.

Edit: It's in your tracking info. Mine says: A UPS My Choice® delivery change was requested for this package. / The receiver arranged to pick up the package at a UPS facility.

Im in Chicago and part of the 7:10 crew and have a delivery date by EOD on 9/25. I really hope that it gets here early since it will be so close. Chose UPS Will Call for pick up too

If this is the case, how could my phone possibly get to me any later than Tuesday? I just don't see how it could get delayed a whole day from such a straightforward process.

Oct. 1 to 6 Delivery Date Orders (Update) Shipping earlier!

My cousin works for UPS and he's already loading trucks at 3:30 am. So to me that timeline makes sense for a Wednesday delivery date.

well..... apple coulda screwed up the paperwork and there could be issues getting through customs....

but let's hope not....
