is there any particular reason they'd leave the expedited phone just sitting in louisville? because that sucks
Eh I have no clue to be honest. I am just trying to cover my ass and not provide wrong information to other people because all the info I put up are for Express shipments (which most of us got upgraded to!)
The last dying breath of hope for a delivery tomorrow is done. It was fun to pretend. Wednesday is the next most likely day, but I'm sure there'll be another delay.
One status says delayed and one says scheduled for 4:02pm. Let's hope they do take off in time. Then most of the 7:10 crowd will get it tomorrow or Wednesday

There isn't. If you did not have Incheon or Shanghai after ZhengZhou then you're going on tomorrow's or day after flight to Anchorage.
I have been following this thread almost from beginning. I thought like the others that would get my package by Monday and that's it. But this whole thing has turned into some kind of FBI case report but in a good way. Everybody is trying to find what happened to the phones, putting in different theories, hoping for miracles like delivery by Monday.
So this all made me to make an account. This thread has become my main page to visit every now and then. And honestly speaking I learned many things on the way. Like different cases, how to track flights, watched video about that super UPS Worldhub.
And last but not the least a lot of entertaining episodes of different words and humor. Like I never new about place ZhengZhou, and new-own-made words as Shanghaid, 7:10'er etc. And all this time I was feeling like I was myself going through those phases like waiting for departure as its my own flight to somewhere, and then waiting for next flight.
On a side note... just talked to UPS customer service and got informed that for Pickup at store name and address on the package should match name and address on an Issued government ID.

The UPS81 is gonna arrive at 1:20am. I think we'll be fine!
Many posters here mentioned that the truck won't leave without goodies from air trailer being loaded to their truck and the air trailers are always the last to come in at 7-8:30am!
Actually Wednesday is possible. Your phone should arrive in Shanghai or Incheon tonight/early morning our time and left Shanghai or Incheon to Anchorage around 5-6am in the morning tomorrow (basically following the schedule for today's batch)
I was shanghaied as well, and have a 9/25 delivery date. I'm trying not to be a jerk and complain about not having an earlier date
Thats not quite right actually... all three flights won't get in until almost 2AM EDT. Then they'll get on planes for local hubs, gotta figure at least 2 hrs turnaround time.
I'd be pretty surprised if anyone gets these phones by tomorrow night. I'm thinking Wednesday at the earliest unless you live literally next to a hub.
Do you mean there was no flight from ZhengZhou to AK today? Reading through the thread, it appears our phones must fly to Korea or somewhere else first, correct?
