The point of having it hold for pickup is going to pick it up in the morning when your hub opens, so you don't need to wait the whole day. When you sign up for my choice and do the will hold it gives you the dates you have to pick it up by or else it gets return/ and the directions to your hub... And the hours.

I've decided I'm better off leaving it alone than have it held. If I were to change it to hold and have that mean it was shifted to Friday, I'd be really annoyed.

I don't think shifting it to a UPS location means you'd be able to pick it up any earlier that same day - it depends on when the truck arrives at that spot.

Yes, and mine hasn't budged all day. Still says I get it on Wednesday though. :rolleyes:

NO!, when you do hold for will call(pick up>... The package doesn't go on the truck at all... Once it gets to the ups hub( not the retail stores) you can pick it up when they open for business...

That's possible. Unfortunately, the main UPS hub for this area is almost impossible to get to due to traffic. If the only benefit for me would be getting it Thursday morning vs. Thursday afternoon, I'd be better off waiting for the truck.

UPS63 just departed from Anchorage to Louisville. Be on the lookout for Anchorage Departure Scan on your tracking (should show up in 15-30 mins?)

UPS81 is leaving Anchorage for Louisville shortly. 03:38PM AKDT (7:38pm ET)

Anyone know where UPS would fly into from Louisville to the Greenville, SC area?

Is there a flight listed for that tonight?
 
So, here's a scenario to ponder. My BIL phone shipped out of Osaka today express saver arrived in Alaska at 12:43. Final destination Minneapolis, but he was not on the Chicago flight out of Alaska. Hmmm. I am now very curious to see what flight he ends up on out of Alaska!
As for my phone, I'm a 7:10'er and 99 for life I feel certain!

Hopefully you'll get on the Louisville plane shortly. UPS63 just left 5 mins ago and UPS81 is coming up at 7:38pm ET and UPS61 at 7:41pm ET.
