we will go on UPS1082 leaving at 3:12am and landing at 4:38am in NEWARK and then to the city hub in lower manhattan and to the delivery truck

It seemed like yesterdays NYC deliveries went through JFK. Mine would be coming to Brooklyn, so hard to say.
Well the plane I was expecting mine to be on left 4 minutes ago and I don't have a departure scan... Not sure how fast these things are getting sorted through Louisville...
And still have a Thursday date. Non-expedited (didn't call Apple to get faster shipping), if that changes anything.

Might not change until a departure scan or arrival at the nearest hub to you.

If they went to your hub in California, that would mean they would have to sort all the millions of packages in Alaska, which they are not set up to do. Instead, they send everything to their major hub in Louisville where all the sorting takes place. Alaska is basically a gas station on the way to Louisville.
My midnight blue leather case (which arrived into Louisville) almost the same time as the phone just updated to be delivered tomorrow technically now today actually. Tuesday the 23rd. My phone sadly still shows Thursday the 25th. One would assume, if they can get me the leather case from Louisville, they should be able to do the same with the phone. Hopefully the phone will get updated, would love to receive both on the same day!
